"So how's your boyfriend doing Amethyst?" Colton mocks. I look at him my eyes filled with hatred, he did this to John and I and now he was doing it to a person I didn't even know.
"He's not my boyfriend!" I say through clenched teeth. I can feel my fist shaking against my hip and my eyes stare dagger at him.
"Don't get heated Jem it was only a joke."
Jem was a name they used with me since I was a little girl my mother had made it up. It stood for maybe I was hard as a rock but I was a hidden jem none the less.
"We're going in 10 minutes," My dad called from upstairs. "Get ready."
"We are don't worry dad." Wyatt hollered up.
Wyatt was my oldest of my brothers, he had just turned nineteen  and was being a really responsible young adult. He reminded me of my father he was strict but kind all at the same time and never got in trouble for anything. He was going to school to become a teacher, and I thought he was going to make it. With his smarts he could be anything he ever wanted to be. He had a strong build with shaggy brown hair and dazzling grey eyes just like my father.
Colton and Bryce were the trouble makers of the house with their short  sandy brown hair and grey eyes they were identical. They got in trouble at school with always pulling jokes on the students and teachers; they had just turned seventeen.
"You guys ready yet, we're going now." My dad says while he straightens his tie. He wore a plaid grey shirt and casual jeans and slips on some white converse.
My aunt came down the stairs after my father in a pretty blue jean dress with funky tights. She looked stunning and her glittering silver flats complemented her outfit perfectly.
We all nod in agreement and make our way over to something we'll always be apart of.
