"Oh my," Miss. Brady said wearily. "Mitch, what have you done?"
"It was only for self defence! I swear it!" He says his hands raised.
"Don't worry we can erase all of that. Everyone just thinks he's dead anyway!" The head C.I.A agent says.
"And who are you?" Miss. Brady asks crossing her hands over her chest.
"James Stumper at your services ma'am." He says taking off his cap. His thick Scottish accent piercing his lips.
"Yeah but still—"
"It'll be fine, don't worry about it." He says brushing it off.
"My son just killed someone and it's no big deal. Have you ever killed someone?" she asks eyeing him.
"Yes. All C.I.A agents do it." he says openly. She's silent at this, her mouth is gapping open.
"Now about these two," he says pointing to Mrs. and Mr. Bird still in their handcuffs.
"I did not give you consent to say that!" Mrs. Bird says frustrated.
"I herby sentence you a lifetime in prison for kidnaping and trying to kill two wee children." he says ignoring her comment. "Take them away." he says with a wave of his hand.
"Thank goddess, the jail birds are going to jail." Mitch says in a huff.
"Jail birds," James says laughing, "I like that. Can I use that?"
"Only if you stop calling me 'your highness''
      "Of course,"
"Good. Then I guess that's done—"
"Now we need you guys to sign some important papers to legalize that you won't go blabbing about this and—"
"To make it null and void." Another C.I.A agent cuts in.
      "Exactly,"
"What's the point of that?" A new voice comes from behind. "They won't tell, I trust them with my life... well at least one of them." I recognize the voice, it's John. I give him an encouraging nod.
"Well it doesn't matter, they are signing a few papers and then they're done. Fair?"
John nods.
After signing the papers Mitch and I went outside. His hands still shaking of what looks like worry. I grab his hands placing a kiss on his cheek. His eyes meet mine, and he kisses me back. "Is it all over?" he asks his voice trembling as he pulls away. I've never seen him like this, it's scaring me.
"No Mitch, it's  not. But it will get better I promise. Just remember I'm here with you through the best and the worse." And I can tell that's the best thing I should've  said at that time. He brings me in for one last kiss. Time freezes my mind fuzzes and I know now that I've done the right thing for both of us and that my story is far from over.
The end.
