I was training with Blake in the forest to hone my skills with the sword.
"Hyah!" [Angelica]
"Hahah! You swing like a girl." [Blake]
"That's because I AM a girl!" [Angelica]
"Heheh." [Blake]
Blake laughs at me as I was trying to slash him left to right. He dodges with grace, even if I use my excuse of being a girl, the sword was indeed actually heavy. Who in their right mind would let a girl swing a two-handed claymore? I would've preferred using a cutlass or gladius for their weight and speed.
The first time I picked up the claymore. It was really heavy and I could barely lift it up and when I swing it, it flew off my hands missing Blake by an inch... Even now, sometimes when I swing it, the momentum forces my body to go forward.
"Come on angel you can do it." [Blake]
Blake edges me on, he had the habit of teasing me by shortening my name. Hahh... the irony... me being a devil in my previous life, I would've just smacked him in the face right about now.
"Don't call me angel!" [Angelica]
"Would angie suffice?" [Blake]
"Ugh! Bake!" [Angelica]
"Hey, now... that isn't funny Angelica..." [Blake]
"Says the one who started it!" [Angelica]
Blake and I met at a young age. I saw him once being bullied by a group of kids, he was crying because they teased him with the name "Bake" as in baking a cake. I defended him from the kids on an odds of 2 VS 5, even though we won, both of us went home covered in mud and bruises.
After that we became friends, I guess you can call me a tomboy back then. Defending the little crybaby Blake.
He now grew up to be an amazing guy, handsome face, great smile, good with the sword "What kind of a guy who wouldn't be good with his sword heheh." also for being tall at 185.6cm. When I was young, I thought that I had the height advantage... boys really grow up faster than girls at the certain age; now I'm at 170.9cm. If I wasn't a guy I might have fallen for him already lol.
When we finished training we washed our face in the nearby river, wiping the sweat off my neck. I noticed him looking; "You little sneak." I thought, then decided to tease him a bit.
"Do you want to borrow my towel?" [Angelica]
"Wah... no..." [Blake]
Heheh, he gets easily flustered which is funny and annoying at the same time.
"You know, I'm fine with you using it." [Angelica]
"No it's alright, it's alright!" [Blake]
"It must be because of my sweat huh..." [Angelica]
While I showed him a dejected expression, he immediately snatched the towel and wiped his face with it. He's taking his sweet time burying his face into the towel...
"Quit sniffing it." [Angelica]
"Eh??" [Blake]
He's so easy to read...
Then, we heard screams coming from the village. I stood up and so did Blake, we both nodded at the same time then started running towards the village.
