We needed to get closer as much as possible and instantly inflict a fatal blow. Even though they are dumb, once you get their attention, then off to the tenderizer you go...

The adults were busy rebuilding the village, so the perimeter is somewhat loose. I'm having second thoughts of whether we should attack it. There may be a chance that some of us may die...

"A few meters more..." [Angelica]

(Snap!)

The ogre looked back, one of us stepped on a branch. Our eyes meet and the ogre let out a loud roar. Some of the guys fell on their butts and some ran.

"Get in the forest!" [Angelica]

"Everyone! Get inside of the forest!" [Blake]

Contrary to popular belief, it is much better to run into the forest if an ogre were to chase after you. From their size, the trees will prevent their movement. If you run into an open field, then you have to be an athlete in order to outrun them.

There were four of us left to confront the ogre, well I wouldn't blame them.

Who wouldn't run from a big ass monster with a tree as a weapon? Even I myself ran the first time I encountered one...

"Let's surround it." [Angelica]

"Who will be the decoy?"

"I am." [Blake]

"Alright."

We all came to an agreement and initiated our strategy. The best way to defeat an ogre is to surround it first, someone has to be a decoy to get its attention while the others attack it.

The decoy also has to dodge its attacks while keeping the ogre's focus on him, a slight misstep here will surely be death. The attackers have to inflict as much damage to the ogre as fast as possible, a long drawn out battle will not favor us.

Blake picked up a rock and threw it at the ogre's head. It hit with a (Clunk), the ogre roared at him. Gross... I could smell its breath from here.

The two that was with me used ▪Fireball▪ bad idea... an ogre is very resistant to fire attacks, because of its flabby skin the fireballs just bounced off. On their second volley, the ogre returned the fireball at us baseball style... it hit the ground behind the villager that casted it, then it exploded knocking him out.

"Get him out of here!" [Angelica]

"H-how about you?!"

"We're fine! Just go!" [Blake]

If there are any people who are down or unconscious. The ogre will focus on them first, hitting them even if they are already dead. Such a ruthless monster, it will make sure that you are as flat as a pancake, before leaving you alone...

Again, Blake and I engaged it.

Because it is just the two of us, we have to split being the decoy and the attacker.

I made a somersault as the ogre swung the club below me. Rolling in the air and then landing on my feet, while Blake slashed the knee.

Blake, used slash it wasn't very effective... {1} oh wait...

The slash needs to be stronger, the flabby skin is like armor.

We did it again, this time I was the one attacking. I enchanted the claymore and hit where Blake slashed earlier, the ogre slumped back keeping us in its sights.

"Tired yet?" [Blake]

"No, I'm pumped." [Angelica]

We smiled and laughed, the ogre roared at us, as if it was complaining.

The ogre's movement went slowly because of the wound. Both of us attacked at high-speed, the ogre can barely keep up with our movements.

Slashes rain down on the ogre. The wrists, kneecaps, arms, and back are being cut as fast as the eye can see.

The ogre with its head down knelt supporting its body with the club, reminiscent of a knight that is kneeling with his sword.

Blake, distracted it from the front, while I circled behind. Blake's strike was blocked by the club. I ran on its back, the nape of the neck is exposed. I shouted a line from an anime opening {2} as I slit its nape.

Blood rained like a fountain and the ogre fell with a (Bam!)

As I landed. Blake showed a cocky smile and I gave him a V-sign.
