While walking along the marketplace, I saw a shop that had the word "Weapons" etched on its sign. Suddenly I unknowingly grabbed Blake's shirt and pulled him inside.
Inside... was a treasure trove of weapons! Weapons of different sizes, types and magnificent designs. There were those that you would usually see in games, inventory set around the middle ages. There are also those that even looked unwieldable!
Great-swords that even I wouldn't be able to use, even if I trained myself to death. There are also Longswords, wouldn't the blade break for being that thin? There's also maces, bows, katars, daggers, even shields that have blades on the side and there's even more! Ahh... I'm in heaven...
Blake, tapped me on the shoulder when I faced him. He wiped something off of my face, is that sweat? No... it came from my mouth. Was I drooling?! Blake then showed me a wry smile and so did the shop owner. Uhg! Damn it! That was so embarrassing!
When I came to, I looked at the price of the weapons. What is this?! Even the cheapest one is around the price of six main quest rewards for our rank!
We then left the shop, I was a bit disappointed... then, I saw Jose moving some stuff inside a building. Is that his shop? I better say hello.
"Jose!" [Angelica]
"Oh! How nice of you to drop by, but I'm still not finished moving my things." [Jose]
"It's alright. I just came to say hi." [Angelica]
"Shopping with him?" [Jose]
"Yes, we're buying some supplies for our quest." [Angelica]
"Ah good! I was about to put the potions on the shelves, If you help me I'll double your discount." [Jose]
"Really?!" [Angelica]
"Really-really." [Jose]
In twenty minutes we finished helping Jose. We brought ten medium healing potions, as promised he gave us an extra discount of 15% plus 15% from our adventurer card so we had a total of 30% on each potion. Before we leave Jose was having a little chat with Blake.
I wonder what do potions taste like? We don't even have those in the village. By the way, to distinguish different potions healing potions are colored red, while energy potions are colored blue, although there are other potions with different colors I don't bother on learning them for now.
"You sure, you still don't want it?" [Jose]
"Uhh..." [Blake]
While I was busy in though Jose, brought out the same potion the other day to Blake.
"Come on, just two drops from it is enough to give someone the stamina and a predatory trait of a mountain lion!" [Jose]
"I told you, we aren't like that!" [Blake]
Blake's cheeks flushed red.
"A stamina potion? How much?" [Angelica]
"Angelica we're leaving." [Blake]
"Hey! Blake?! Wait!" [Angelica]
Blake held my hand and pulled me out of the shop.
"Heheh, come again!" [Jose]
As Jose said that, I heard a (Kuh) from Blake, he seemed really frustrated. Is that potion really that expensive? If he wants it, I'll buy it for him in secret.
The said farm is about a three-day walk from here. Good thing that it is near the city's vicinity, so transport was plenty. We hitched a ride with another group of adventurers. They even asked me to join them, but I turned them down because they had a rank of AR3, all the way to the farm Blake was glaring at them, was there something wrong?
We arrived at the farm at dusk and stayed there for the night, the farm owner was very nice, he even cooked some of his produce for us.
"So, where is the cave?" [Blake]
"Inside the forest north of here, most of the insects are crawlers." [Farm Owner]
"Crawlers?" [Angelica]
"Insects that weren't able to fly." [Farm Owner]
"How was your daughter?" [Blake]
"She's bitten at the knee, luckily it wasn't serious. Please exterminate those insects as soon as possible." [Farm Owner]
"Understood, we'll head out at daybreak." [Blake]
"Thank you." [Farm Owner]
