Now charging at us. I told Blake what we'll do.

"Blake, I'll try to weaken it, make sure to finish it off." [Angelica]

"Can we do it?" [Blake]

"If you manage to kill it, then you can ask me anything for a reward." [Angelica]

Blake, smiles. He seemed to be looking forward to it.

The orc king is going to attack us unarmed? He really is the hulk... I wonder if he would say "Hulk, smash!" while pounding us to dust...

"I'm still not quite used to this, but here goes nothing..." [Angelica]

I enchanted the cleaver with wind enchant, it felt light as a feather. I then fired off a ranged attack.

The orc king. Realized that something was coming, braced for it, raising his arms. A few amount of blood scattered. He didn't even flinch...

Blake and I made our assault. I got to the orc king first. He tried to do the same tactic, again by grabbing my arm, but it's different this time. With my attack speed increased by threefold, I slashed him all over his body.

I wasn't used to moving my arms at this kind of speed and because of that some of my attacks aren't hitting where they were supposed to... but I can quickly do a follow-up, to make up for it.

But damn, hitting him is like chipping wood from a tree. He flinches from time to time, which is a good thing, some of my blows are getting through. Blake strikes chopping off two of its fingers in the process. A few adventurers and knights were helping us, while the others disposed of whats left of the legion.

Still... it managed to fight us off, picking up and throwing people or stomping on them. Its greenish skin now mixed with the shade of purple, the orc king fell. Blake jumped onto its shoulder and stabbed his jian into its eye socket. It tries to grab him, but the hand stopped close to Blake and dropped dead on the floor.

With the orc king taken out, we can hear cheers, but the battle still isn't over...

The orc king was able to nearly wipe us out, everyone was already exhausted from the fighting, it is starting to affect our combat ability... 204 is what's left of our forces, while 319 is the number of orcs.

Most of the experienced adventurers are already dead, so fighting them became even harder.

They were cutting us down little by little, we couldn't even muster up the strength to run...

"This is hopeless..." [Angelica]

"At least we fought till the end right?" [Blake]

Blake and I fell on the grass, our exhausted bodies couldn't fight anymore... all the potions we had were used on the wounded, but they soon died fighting due to the lack of stamina...

There was a sound of a horn being blown in the distance... is it from the orc legion?

"The cavalry!"

"Uhg I must be hearing things..." [Blake]

"Me too..." [Angelica]

"Support finally came! Everyone! We can win this!"

While lying down, we leaned to where the guys were pointing at. Up the slope, people numbering in the thousand all riding on horseback. Were thundering towards the legion ranks, as the orcs saw them they tried to flee barefoot, but they were caught up to and then killed.

A magician went up to us to mend our wounds. I thought that support wouldn't come...

That night there was a celebration for the defeat of the orc king and his legions, but those of us who survived weren't in a party mood. The reason why support came late was that the rally was slow and they doubted if their numbers will suffice to defeat the legion.
