That very same morning, I asked everyone to help me set up shop. Putting up the displays was hard work, but it was all worth it.
Once news came out that I had new inventions, the shop was full to the brim. From commoners to merchants, to rich and high-class individuals.
By afternoon, we've sold over 7/10 of my inventions. It was a new record for our sales and I need to thank Mrs. Helen for that.
We closed shop early to celebrate. Blake, got some barbecue and Jose, brought in alcohol. While we girls prepared the plates, table and utensils.
All of us ate like a big happy family. I also prepared a special sauce for the barbecue, it is quite hard to replicate the taste. I had to improvise for the missing ingredients and it somehow came out alright.
"Sis..." [Mooly]
"What is it Mooly?" [Angelica]
"Why is it out of the three of you; you are the only person who uses a bronze weapon?" [Mooly]
"I find no need to upgrade my weapon, since I can enchant and stuff." [Angelica]
"But... what if we fought a monster that can withstand bronze weapons. Yours might break." [Mooly]
She has a point. If I didn't upgrade, my other enchants are going to be useless, except for the fire enchant and it would be problematic, if we encountered a fire type monster or reactive types like the oil squids... Now, I feel bad for wasting money on the second greatsword...
"Well, why don't we check the weapon shop?" [Blake]
"Weapon... shop?" [Angelica]
I'm getting excited, I wonder if I should change my weapon type?
"Welcome, ah! The inventor."
We got to the weapon shop and the blacksmith greeted me upon entering.
"Good afternoon." [Angelica]
"What are you looking for?" [Blacksmith]
"She's planning on replacing her gladius." [Mooly]
"A bronze gladius?" [Blacksmith]
"She used that since AR1." [Blake]
"AR1?! I'm amazed that you've maintained it this well!" [Blacksmith]
The weapons at the shelf's look fantastic, but they don't fit my style.
"Do you have a kris?" [Angelica]
"You're in luck. I just finished this one, a while ago." [Blacksmith]
He shows me a steel kris, I can recognize this wavy blade anywhere. I look at Blake and Mooly. They only have iron weapons. Should I really buy it?
"Because of your invention, my smiting became much-much easier." [Blacksmith]
He said that when he had attached the magic crystal with the fire enchant on his furnace. It gave him the power to control the temperature of the flames, making the temperature just right. Also because of my enchant his hands weren't burnt from forging.
"How about this. I'll let you do a trade in, so that your weapons can all be steel. So how about it?" [Blacksmith]
"Is it really alright with you?" [Angelica]
"It's okay. You even sell your inventions at the lowest price to help everyone in the city, think of this as repayment to your efforts." [Blacksmith]
"Well, thank you!" [Angelica]
We all traded our weapons and all got steel gear, even though Mooly just brought hers the other day...
This is also a great perk for selling cheaply, connections and trust.
Maria, tried to teach Mooly some magic, but like me, she only had low capacity... So she was only taught apprentice level Heal.
That makes our party have two minor healers, me and Mooly, the major being Maria. It will help in reducing weight, since we don't have to buy small healing potions anymore.
When Mooly, learned Million Stab. She totally destroys monsters, you'd think that they went into some industrial punch press. She's also capable of attacking the same part twice in quick succession with great accuracy.
The dragons as very useful when getting from one place to another and they are indeed fast, but like fighter jets, you'll need lots of gas... they eat so damn much, that even if we are AR3 the rewards felt like AR2 or AR1...
I once held a meeting if we should let them go. Blake, said that we should keep them, we can cover their food expenses once we reach AR5 which is still a long way...
During the meeting, the dragons cried. I didn't know if they were crying, because they'll miss us or happy because they thought that they won't be seeing Maria anymore...
I also asked Maria if she wanted me to enchant her staff, she just answered that it would be weird if she went around hitting monsters with it. She should go play some whack a monster lol.
She should be happy if I enchanted her staff. In my past life I played as a battle priest in an RPG R.O. (Ragnarok Online) and can pretty much hold off on my own, with all my buffs. Ahh... the glory days... Shit... I miss my computer...
"Sis are you okay?" [Mooly]
"Yeah Angelica, you're spacing out." [Blake]
"It's nothing. I'm just reminiscing my past life." [Angelica]
"Past... life?" [Mooly]
"Never mind..." [Angelica]
I'm getting depressed... I wanna take this out on monsters...
I wonder if there are people who died here and reincarnated into my world. I'm having this mental image of a gamer that shouts "Hahaha! I'm immortal! You cannot hurt me! I will respawn again!!"
I think, I'm starting to like PC games even more. In games I can fast travel, change the time of day in just a second, don't have to eat crappy food. My body won't get tired except for my hands, not get wounded, not worry about perma death. Well enough of that... Ima go kill some poor unlucky monster now.
