I M Chapter 57 [Michelle]

Ever since I was born. Father gave me everything that I had wanted, since I was his favorite. I guess you would consider me as a spoiled and arrogant back in the day. Doing whatever that I pleased with no-one to stop me, except for leaving the castle grounds.

All of that changed when I became fifteen "Finally freedom!" I thought, but father would only let me out under one condition. It is only if I had a bodyguard, he then introduced me to a knight named Terrence.

Everything was fine till we left. When we got to the city Terrence, became strict all of a sudden.

He kept on saying that "You couldn't do this, you mustn't do that." And a lot of other stuff that it came to the point that I got really annoyed, so I escaped from him. I managed to get back to the castle with the help of the knights who patrolled the city.

Afterwards Terrace got a good scolding from father, haha serves him right.

Father summoned me to hear the side of my story. There, by the throne room. Terrence, was kneeling in front of him, I went to father's side and told him what happened.

"Just because it's your first time out of the castle, you acted like a carefree child!" [Terrence]

Terrence, suddenly made an outburst that it got everyone in the throne room by surprise, including father.

"If you only didn't say. This, that, blah-blah-blah!" [Elaine]

"I was only concerned about your safety!" [Terrence]

Father massaged his forehead while he listened to our quarrel.

"Hah... so childish..." [Terrence]

"What did you call me?!" [Elaine]

"Silence!! Both of you!" [King Alex]

"B-but father he..." [Elaine]

"Terrence is right my beloved daughter. Even I would get mad if something happened to you, but please have some consideration for your guard and for me as well." [King Alex]

"Guhuh..." [Elaine]

When father rebuked me. I saw Terrence smirking at me "Just you wait..." I said with a low tone voice so that no one could hear.

"And you Terrence..." [King Alex]

"Huh?" [Terrence]

"Since my daughter managed to escape from you and she risked her safety. I'm deducting 25% of your salary for this month." [King Alex]

"Kuh..." [Terrence]

I held my hand to my mouth and laughed silently as I stared at him. At least I got away with only a scolding hahahaha!

All of us were scared shitless, when we discovered how evil my mother actually was...

"In order to not let this happen again, I'll be increasing your guards Elaine." [King Alex]

Since that day, our quarreling had become a daily occurrence. I hope that father would switch Terrence and leave me with someone who was less meddlesome.

So I devised a plan...

I asked a magician from the high court to teach me offensive magic. At first the man refused, so I went to father directly to force the magician into it.

I also asked one of his generals to teach me a thing or two about tactics.

"If I remember correctly, the name of the magician was Jo-se?" [Michelle]

"Ahh..." [Angelica/Maria/Kate]

The three of us let out an ahh, while Regina just looked sideways. Maybe she wasn't a knight yet at that time, oh such a small world we live in...

Every day, I've trained until I got to Expert level magic. Now, I can surely defend myself is what I had thought.

I asked father that I wanted to hunt some monsters and he was very happy once he heard that. He might just be happy, because I'm keeping up with tradition.

Now we've departed into the forest. Me and Terrence are accompanied by a few knight recruits, because father had went to another kingdom for a meeting, so he brought the royal guard with him.

I really wish that he came with us. So that I can show him how weak Terrence really is; as I defeat the monsters easily with magic in front of him.

On our way there, I discussed the formation of the party. I made them do the diamond formation with me as the middle. Terrence, said that it should be the arrowhead formation and I should be at the far back.

I rejected his idea and said to him that with my formation, they would be able to protect me easily as the center, otherwise with his formation I'll be exposed. The knight recruits also agreed with me and he backed down. I can see that he's pissed.

"Kate, Regina..." [Michelle]

"Yes?" [Kate]

"Your highness?" [Regina]

"Before I continue. I just want to apologize in advance..." [Michelle]

"You don't have to princess." [Kate]

"Umm... can I ask why?" [Regina]

"No... I want to apologize, if you have any friends or know anyone who were with me during that time..." [Michelle]

Michelle, bowed her head till it was the same level as the floor. We can see tears forming in her eyes.

Both Kate and Regina frantically asked Michelle to raise her head.

The atmosphere became tense as we somehow understood what she meant.

(Gulp)

I heard Regina swallow her saliva. Maria, stopped writing to listen more clearly.
