My job became easier when Jose started to help. By now, I've imbued a dozen of magic crystals and turned them into a stove. These are to be sold later.
Although I only do it at the lake, because it was hard for me to concentrate here in the city. How come Jose can do it? Could it be a magician train?
Because I've imbued at the lake a lot of times it sprouted the myth of a priestess appearing at the lake in the middle of the night, accompanied by bright lights, playing and swimming around in it.
If you were to witness it, great luck shall befall on you... I facepalmed when I heard about it, people of this world really...
A lot of things had happened during this month.
Now, I've learned how to control my wind enchant. It had more effects than I thought.
First, when I fire off ▪Crescent▪ by the way I called it Crescent because its cool if I could name my own moves! I mean how come that only spells and sword strikes have their own names, so unfair... anyway...
▪Crescent▪ A wall or a blade of wind shaped like a crescent. Depending on how much energy you put into it, it gives it different effects.
If you pour more energy it becomes big and slow well, not that slow. If it's big, it will have a wall like crushing effect via blunt force. This is really hard to stop once it gets going.
Its drawback is it's very draining to use and it travels at maybe around 20-30/kph and since it moves very slowly you can judge where it's path is, so it's easy to dodge.
If you use less energy it becomes smaller, but fast and also sharp. Similar to the ▪Air Cutter▪ spell, but with better area coverage its speed is at 90/kph.
The drawbacks, it needed to impact something for it to dispel. I usually countered this by shooting it upwards. Mostly useful against flying enemies.
▪Bladestorm▪ - Similar to Crescent, but with even lower energy, projectiles fired in quick succession. I copied this move from a game character that I used to play in my handheld, the name was dissidia {1} and the guy uses a really long thin sword {2}.
My limit right now is I can only fire off seven slashes. It's drawback is it only inflicts minor wounds.
While my wind enchant is in effect, aside from making my weapon weightless it increases my attack speed depending on the energy consumed. At full power my speed is increased by six times, at low three times. I only used the 3x speed, because it makes my screw ups less and is economical in terms of energy saving.
At 6x speed. As I've said before, it was hard to land a hit to where you wanted them to. Imagine if you're playing time crisis {3} that is sped up six times. Is it easy to aim?
The attack was really hard to follow with my eyes and I'm not used to moving that fast.
The drawback... only my hands and arms benefit the speed...
Maria has now learned offensive magic up to Regular level on all elements, except for sub elements which are at Expert level.
For now it seems that she bottlenecked at Healing and Support, since there is no one that can teach her. She's trying to learn Expert level magic via self study as we speak.
Blake, was amazing from training with his mentor. His swordsmanship skill had dramatically increased. When we spar, even with my wind enchant. He could still keep up with me even at six times of my speed! Deflecting, blocking and even dodging them.
Whats more, he isn't even breaking a sweat and looked like he was just playing with me. I was really jealous of him. I said to him that with my enchant he would be unstoppable. Blake shrugged it off and said something humble like "You have more talent than me." Or "Don't belittle yourself so much."
