On the 3rd month. Most of the criminals that attacked the village have now been captured, also in that month, I was experimenting how to efficiently use my power.
If I was planning on using my newfound power more often. I better lower how much energy it soaks up, while not compromising its effectiveness, because if I easily get tired or using it; then... it would defeat its purpose. So that I can spam it as much as possible and not be life-threatening.
In the 4th month of training, I managed to master my power. Now I've made it more efficient by only enveloping the edge instead of the whole blade. Think of it as a lightsaber. I got the idea from an online game I was playing in my old world, I forgot the whole name though, but all I remember is it has the word "Star"{1} in it. Speaking of which, Blake's hairstyle somehow resembles one of the protagonists of that game although the hair color was black.
"That was amazing Angelica!" [Blake]
"Now, what should I call this magic?" [Angelica]
"Why not call it enchanting?" [Blake]
"That has a nice ring to it." [Angelica]
"Heheh." [Blake]
Blake claps as he sees me perfecting it, ever since the knife incident. I asked Blake, to tag-along and watch me practice. He was really amazed at how I could do it, I tried teaching him, but he says that he just couldn't do it...
Next, I moved onto the claymore. As I thought... it was somehow difficult, the longer edge of the claymore means more energy is needed to keep it on. I might just stick with a gladius if that is the case, at least I managed to improve it drastically by only enchanting it just before the strike hits.
Which posed another problem... Since I would only enchant just before an attack, people can see my attack patterns clearly and make a counter based on that, which leaves the question... should I leave it on or not? No... I will only enchant if there is a need to.
It isn't a problem for monsters though since most of them have little to no intelligence.
