It was Saturday night, which meant that Penelope was going to Diego's show. She didn't know exactly why she agreed but she knew that her friends, Monica and Justine, were going to be by her side the whole night, at least that's what she hoped.  She had even invited Noah, the guy who she danced with at the party, to join them. Making it clear that it was in fact not a date.

Diego and Penelope had spent the last week together, after they talked about just being friends for the time being, they hung out and occasionally went out to dinner. She wasn't the one to rush into anything and she definitely wasn't going to rush anything with Diego. Penelope knew from the start that Diego was a certain way, she wasn't surprised when the Reddish Blu girl commented and said he was with her the night before.

Penelope felt a bit jealous but she reminded herself that they were just friends. She had no right to be upset at Diego for hooking up with the girl. Penelope and Diego weren't together and they probably wouldn't be for awhile. No matter what, she needed time for herself.

Penelope looked at herself in the mirror, she had just finished straightening her hair. A natural look was what she was aiming for, she had no one she needed to impress. She was still in her bath robe as she looked at herself in the mirror, nerves were really hitting her and she had no idea why.

Monica and Justine both walked into Penelope's bathroom, both friends just getting a view of their best friends backside. "P, hurry up! It's already 8:27!" Monica was the first one to speak as she walked up to the sink countertop. Where Penelope stood putting on some clear lipgloss, putting the lipgloss down she turned to Monica who was wearing a tight blue tube top that said "not ur baby" in the front and some tight white skinny jeans, the outfit was complete with some black converse. Justine wore a similar outfit but instead she was wearing a skirt and some booties. Her black her was curled and her face was covered in makeup.

"Please tell me you're dressed! I need drinks ASAP." Justine said while leaning against the bathroom wall with her rose gold iPhone in hand. Penelope smiled and turned around to face her friends. "I went with a simple outfit, alright? Don't judge." Penelope said with a sly smile and both the girls looked at each other and smiled. They nodded their head and waited for Penelope to take her robe off.

Penelope took the robe off and stood their with a black lace bralette top and tight black skinny jeans, the outfit was complete long knee high boots. Both the girls stood there with wide eyes, they started hyping their friend up.

"YES BITCH!" Monica shouted as she pulled her phone out to snapchat her best friend. Justine was in wow.

"If I didn't have a girl...Pen..YOU LOOK GOOD ASFUCK!" Justine said as she took a picture of her best friend. "Diego is not going to know what hit him." Justine said as she posted the picture on snapchat.

Penelope smiled wide and started giggling. She wasn't trying to impress anyone, not even Diego. She wanted to go out, look good and have a good time with her best friends.

"I think we're all set to go guys." Penelope said to her best friends as they nodded their head in agreement.

"How many times are you going to check your phone boi?" Steven asked Diego as the two friends smoked a blunt. Steven had realized how happy Diego was for the past four days, he hadn't seen Diego this happy in awhile. The happiest he had ever seen him was when they got the call that his track "Betrayed" hit #1.
