Monster's adventure

#22 The mission

(Denver's POV)

It's still dawn so I let the little adventurer sleep at the castle of Royal City. I went infront of the King and Queen and bow.

"So what's you're plan?" The queen asks. I walked in front of them and show a map. Not just a map, it's a 3d map or something. I point out the Royal City.

"Of course, we are here. The enemy is an unknown creature. It might be a royal, fairy, wizare, monster or maybe a demon. But one thing is for sure, they are stronger than us." I said.

I pointed at the monster City.   "There's a 70% chance that they will go to the monster city because they wanted monsters to be their army." I said again. The King frown.

"Then we have to alarm them. That's the best we can do" He said.

"No" the queen said. "Ayokong magpanic ang mga tao"

I nodded. It's probably better if we won't tell it to everyone.   "I want the Adventurers to stay at the monster city so we can find the enemy" I said.

"N-no! Their monsters! What if they eat or kill those kids!" the queen said.  She's right. She have her son in the group so it's normal for her to be worried.

"Let me think about that.  Thank you for your time your Majesty " I said and went in my room. I opened my room and saw Gabriella sleeping in my suppose to be bed.

I quietly lay beside her. This is the best night ever! I mean best dawn ever.  It's not like I will pervert her. I just really want to be with her. I hug her and fall asleep.

As expected, a painful slap will wake me up.   I sat down as I touched my burning face.   "Goodmorning Gabriella my loves!" I said.

"What the hell! You maniac!" She said and throw a pillow. I dodged it and stood in the floor.   "Relax. I did nothing at all"  I said. Her face is burning red. Cute.

"Shut up. You're not my boyfriend or anyone in my life." She said. I'm not her boyfriend? Of course I'm not. That may be impossible but...

"I will be your boyfriend. Or maybe better,  your husband." I said and kiss her cheek. I opened the door. 

"After lunch, we will have a meeting in the coffee shop down town. It's an important meeting of the advisers. Do come." I said and went to the royal bathroom in this castle and had a nice bath. After that, I joined everyone in the dining table. I sat beside Gabriella who seemed very irritated at me.

"Good morning Adventurers and fellow advisers. " I said. They greeted me back. I have lots to do today so I snatched two sandwich at the table and left the castle. I rode on my own car. Where did I get it? Who knows.

I drive out of Royal City. When I'm in the forest, I opened a portal so I can go there faster.  I close the portal the moment I got there. The Paradise city.

I parked my car in front of my house and I walked to the mansion, where the ruler of all dimensions live. When I'm in front of the enormous door, I rang the doorbell. A servant opened the door.

"I'm here to see god" I said to the little servant. He nodded. He knows me because I come here every time I need to talk to god.

We entered the large living room. I sat on the soft couch as I waited. After a minute, I saw him coming down from the stairs.

"Denver! My friend!"

I walked to him and do a manly shake hand. He is my best man, John. I work in the world council as the Rule maker, while he is known as the God of Paradise City.

"There are villains who wants to take over the world" I said.

"Alam ko" he said. That's one of the things I like in him. He knows everything.

"Do you know who he is?"

"No" he said.  "I don't know who he is, but I know that it is not a 'He', it's a 'They'"

So there are more than one person! I'm really glad that I have a person like John.

"I also know that they have a leader, but he is a she"

My eyes widen. A powerful group of villain, leading with a woman?! How strong can that woman be?!

"My head hurts" I said and massage it with ny hand. He laughs and tap my shoulders.

"Yun pa lang ang nalalaman ko. For now. You must be very stressed, leading a mission to capture bad guys even thought you're a Rule Maker and It's not your job.  Bakit di mo pinaalam sa council o kaya sa army?"

"The council and army knows. But unfortunately, almost all the army are wounded and killed. I have to do something on my own and the council agreed since I insist."

I  volunteered to do the mission. One night, I saw one of the villain but I did'nt saw the face, and I saw that he or she is a size of a teenager. That person acts like a teen prankster as he or she light fire in a village.

I gathered students that I know is not ordinary. I picked students because I thought they have the same flow of mind.

I hope I made the right decision.

I drove all the way back to Royal City. I stopped in front of the coffee shop. I looked for the advisers the moment I step inside. I saw them sitting in a long table.

"Your late."  sabi ni Earl na umiinom ng coffee. I sat infront of Gabrielle my loves at ordered a cup of  latte.

"I just went in an important bussiness." I said.  "I have some very helful clues. The villain we're catching is actually a group. So expect two or more enemy"

Gabrielle wrote down each word I say. I don't know if she will use it in our mission, or she just loves to take down notes of my beautiful speech.

"And what else? Besides we're doomed?" Kaiser teasingly asked.

" The leader is a woman. Yes you here me. A girl leading a fatal group of villains."

Kaiser laughed hard while the two is looking at me shocked.  "Ganun?! Di ko alam kung maniniwala ako sayo o makikitawa ako kasama si Kaiser" Earl said.

"I'm serious. And my conclusion is that they are just teenagers. And so, the adventurers will not get too hard on the mission" I said.

"Yeah right. Then what about the humans?" Gabrielle asked.

"I'm working on it"  I said and take a sip of my coffee. Gabrielle continue to write down every word I speak.

"We will stay at the City of Monsters. We will leave tomorrow. They must be hiding there."

I am actually excited in this mission. I mean, not everyday you get to go in a epic 50/50 adventure with students and a demon right
