"I think she went to the beach. She walked out about 5 minutes ago," Kylie's grandma told me.

"Okay thank you Mrs. Be- I mean Jill." I say chuckling.

"Anytime, Ethan." She responds as I head off the porch twisting my new bracelet nervously.

I walked to the sand and scanned the water for the girl I was determined to make mine. I found her swimming pretty far out, I smiled and began to take off my clothes.

Kylie's POV

I came up out of the water and looked toward the beach and saw nobody. I guess it he doesn't want this anymore. I saw him take the envelope inside so I know he got it. Ugh.

"Boo," I hear behind me making me scream. I felt hands on my waist turning my body around facing a pair of hopeful chocolate eyes.

"You're h-here," I say speechless. I truly thought he wasn't coming.

He held up his wrist with the other hand still on my waist, showing the bracelet and I smile wide, "Where else would I be?" He asked.

"I'm sorry," I begin to say before I'm stopped as soft, warm lips crash into mine. His arms wrap around my body and I tug on his brown hair.

Our lips stay connected as our bodies move in sync. He sucked on my bottom lip as I had his top. His tongue licked my bottom lip, asking for an entrance and I quickly accepted.

We pulled apart and our foreheads rested against each other, both of us gasping for air.

"Don't say sorry, baby. You've said it all." He says and my heart melts. He is so perfect.

Tuesday

I could barely sit down in my classes today. My legs kept shaking and I couldn't focus to save my life.

Ethan and I's relationship had totally changed now, plus, my brother was coming back today. I was really missing him.

I glance over to Ethan slouching in his chair watching the teacher go over notes. His jawline was so prominent it sent butterflies throughout my stomach and my legs went weak.

He clenched his jaw and I jumped lightly, he looks so fucking good. He began to chuckle and my cheeks go deep red, he knew I was staring at him.

Me: Such a fucking tease.

He looked down at his phone and laughed.

E: Stop staring at me, or you wouldn't be so sexually frustrated.

I look up at him, jaw dropped. I was not sexually frustrated.

Or maybe I was. Who knows.

I arrived home to Chris's rental car in the driveway and I quickly ran inside almost knocking over a vase of flowers. I smiled, who could've gotten me these?

I texted Ethan-

Me: Was this you?

E: Was what me?

Me: There's a vase of flowers inside my house.

E: Wasn't me. Someone has a secret admirer.

I sent him the middle finger emoji and proceeded to my brothers room.

"What are the flowers?" I ask walking into his 'cave' as he likes to call it, considering he stays in it 24/7 when he's here.

"Oh, this guy named Matt found me in the LAX airport and gave them to me saying they were for the beautiful girl I get to live with," Chris continued, "I figured he wasn't a gigolo so he wasn't talking about Grandma therefore they're yours." I nodded walking out confused as ever.

"I think there's a note inside!" Chris yelled back at me.

I had so many questions. Why was Matt was in LA? Why would he get me flowers.

I found a small white piece of paper stuck in the middle of the flowers and opened it.

Kylie,

It's Matt. You're probably really surprised this is happening. I was planning on finding you somehow and getting these to you, but I just found your brother so I thought I'd write this note to say what I wanted. If you got this I'm really surprised, your brother seems like he hates me. Anyways, I just wanted to say you're seriously beautiful and I hope we can meet again some day.

Love,
Matt

I smiled bringing the vase and note upstairs to my room. I set the roses on my desk and went to pin the note in my cork board when something caught my eye. A picture of my parents and I after my basketball team and I won the State Championship.

My fingers brush the picture and I slowly puck it up, walking backwards toward my bed, with my eyes glued to our smiling faces.

"I'm going out for a bit, so you'll be home alone until grandma and grandpa get home. Bye K love you." I hear Chris say walking by my door and downstairs.

I didn't respond, as my eyes started to sting and heat up. I haven't thought about them much, what's wrong with me?

Ethan really feels like he's healing that hole they left, but that doesn't mean I can forget about them. Should I even move on?

The tear flow sped up tremendously and I couldn't help but just scream. I miss them so much.

I heard a knock at my balcony door, who the fuck is that?

I opened the door and saw Ethan. He stood tall with a concerned yet sad look on his face.

Ethan's POV

I was walking up to my house from my car when I hear the loudest cry ever. China could probably hear it.

I looked next door and saw no cars but Kylie's yellow jeep. I was instantly beyond worried for her. I climbed up to what I'm assuming is her balcony, I remember seeing her standing on it the morning before we met. That's when I knew I wanted to get to know her. So beautiful.

I hear a loud sniffle from inside and I knocked. A red, tear stained face opens the door. I had no words. What happened to her?

I pulled her into a hug, not knowing how to take care of her. She cried on my shoulder and I felt my shirt getting wet but I didn't care. What matters is she's okay.

She pulls away but I don't take my hands off of her waist. "Y-your shirt." She said to me pointing at the large wet spot on my shoulder.

"I don't care," I say cupping her cheek with my right hand and wiping her constant flow of tears.

After a while she had calmed down, and was ready to talk. We sat down on the little chairs she had on her balcony, facing each other as I lightly held her hand.

Kylie's POV

He was holding my hand as we sat across from each other. He looked worried, which he didn't need to be.

"I'm listening if you want to tell me what's going on." He says sweetly.

I nodded. What if I tell him and he runs off because I'm some stupid little girl who lost her parents.

I looked at the ground a furrowed my eyebrows.

"You can tell me, baby." He says and my heart dropped to the floor.

"Well basically..."
