"Dylan, my son!" Tita happily said with her arms open wide as she gave Dylan a hug. "Iara, hija!"
"You look marvelous, hija." Aniya matapos kumalas sa aming yakap.
"Salamat, tita. You look super elegant po."
Isang gold colored long sleeved and suot ni Tita na puro dyamante ang palamuti sa katawan. She had this elegant and socialite vibe around here.
"I need to, dear." She said, giggling.
"Hi, tito." Tumango lamang ito at ngumiti ng bahagya.
I was nervous at first dahil baka ayaw niya kong makita dito pero wala naman akong naramdaman na negatibong reaksyon mula sa kanya. Though he looked confused on why Dylan's hand suddenly crept on my waist after they greeted each other.
"I want you to meet some business partners." Tito David said to Dylan. The latter nodded before he led us to the group of people.
"Everyone, this is my second son Dylan. He's going to be the VP starting Monday."
Ever male in the group were wearing their obviously expensive suit while the ladies were of course in their beautiful long gowns and jewelries. Tsk! Discrimination.
"I didn't know that your second son was the infamous basketball player." Ani ng isa.
"And who's this lovely lady beside you, Dylan?"
Every eye on the group landed on me while waiting for an answer. Bigla akong nahiya sa mga tingin. I never really liked attention. Maybe dati pero hindi na ngayon.
"She's obviously Dylan's girl." Sabi ng isang babae sa kaliwa namin.
"H-hello po. My name's Iara."
Dylan pulled my closer before kissing the side of my head. "She's the love of my life." Mas lalo akong nahiya at napayuko.
I suddenly heard a shriek. "I'm so happy for you for the both of you! Congratulations. Buti siya ang napili mo, anak. Welcome to the family, hija."
Muli akong niyakap ni Tita. "Thank you, tita."
Tito only patted Dylan's shoulder and gave me a warm smile. But then again, I didn't want to assume.
Nonetheless, I still felt happy that they did not say anything negative at all.
"Welcome to the family, Iara."
"Thank you po, tito David." I sincerely said.
Tumango ito. "My son's has always been waiting for you. I'm happy for you both."
He said something that made tito nod his head.
"Gentlemen, ladies... my wife and I need to go. The celebrant's about to make an entrance."
"Dylan, come join us later, okay? Your grands are excited to see you again. Bring her."
Sabi ni tita bago sila umalis ni tito. Dylan also excused ourselves from the group.
Everybody in this room was standing around an identical high table.
