Chapter 15 - Saranghae

Lucas the Spider: Don't stay up for too long Areum. Don't talk to drunk guys.

Areum bit her lips rushing towards the exit but sadly, he isn't there anymore. He's gone, but she gets to smile at the cherry blossoms and the pixie lights that seemed like billions of twinkling lights due to their reflection on the hot tub.

Lucas, he's definitely different.

"Areum, need a ride? We have one more room." Taeyong offered, fanning his hand gesturing her to come close.

Areum excitedly nodded. Of course she wanted a free ride. Taeyong's not a stranger. He looks like a person you can trust with your life, judging by the way he treats his younger friends.

She followed him to the parking lot and saw Ten, Mark, Lucas, and Koeun. No wonder she was invited to come along. They're all going to the same place. Except for Taeyong and Ten of course. The two lived on a different dorm. A dorm closer to the hospital since they're already on their internship.

"You're skinny, right? You can fit on the backseat with the others." Taeyong told her with a really shy smile. He doesn't seem like his playboy reputation. He's actually quite shy.

"I'll slide first." Koeun told them. Mark followed then Lucas. Now is the best part, Areum came last trying to fit herself which means her sides pressed against Lucas.the car was too full that Lucas had to put his arms up to give free more space.

"Seat Belts?" Taeyong checked the back seat noticing Lucas' arms behind Areum's shoulders.

"Do you guys need to get home early or are you up for a joyride?" Taeyong asked looking at the rearview mirror to wait for their confirmation.

Lucas clicked his tongue which seems like a signal for something, because Mark nodded his head after it.

Only Koeun and Areum are clueless but didn't say a word anyway. They're already sleepy by now to actually think.

Taeyong started the engine, starting the music also. It was the radio but here comes DJ Ten to the rescue.

It was VIXX LR's 'Beautiful Liar'.

A perfect music for a late car ride. Especially after a party. Your excitement wont turn into a disappointment than the fun ended so fast. It'll feel like it's only about to start.

Everybody stared on the outside adoring the city lights while Lucas and Areum thought it was a shame that the city lights are outshining the night sky.

Areum was silently blushing while feeling Lucas' warmth beside her. She can smell his cologne. Or was it his fabric conditioner? Was it his shampoo or his soap?

Whatever it is she wanted to buy it.

"Lucas remember when you climbed the top of that Building with Kun?" Ten pointed at an abandoned building that says, 'NO TRESPASSING' sign at the main entrance.

Taeyong Mark and Lucas laughed it out but the girls can't relate for sure.

"What's funny?" Koeun shyly asked Mark.

"Should I tell the story?" Mark asked.

"No! You'll turn it into a lame story." Ten cut him off.

"It was when we started hanging out with Kun. One night Lucas and Kun wanted to go inside the building. It used to be a church but it fell apart after an earthquake. Since then it was closed for safety reasons. Lots of metal bars and bricks have the tendency to fall. They can't afford to fix it since it was a really big church. Since then, nobody's allowed to get in to avoid accidents." Ten started the story.
