The moment Lucas and Areum excused themselves, Raehee grabbed Mark Lee's collar without letting a minute pass. "Is he serious with Areum?" she asked demandingly.
Mark Lee raised his hands in surrender. He didn't see thing coming that he stood straight and smirked. Does Raehee really think she look scary? She cant fool Mark Lee. He has a loud voice yes but it was as high as a little kid who haven't been through puberty yet. Plus, her height looks like she haven't been through puberty yet.
She's nothing but a little kid who throws tantrums because she's mody and a spoiled brat.
"Well, he liked Areum for a long time, so if this isn't serious and he's still an idiot." he replied making Raehee let go of his collar, fake dusting her hands.
"For a long time you say. When did it start?" she asked nicely this time. That one he can't answer. It for Lucas to answer. The truth is, Mark couldn't remember the start. He isn't interested with Lucas' love story. Get nervous if he does.
"Mesozoic era." he muttered before jumping out of the window to escape Raehee.
Sorry Lucas but I can't stand Raehee.
Mark Lee giggled as he went down from the fire exit. It's less crowded and leads outside, not one hallway after another. It's suffocating.
He'll just text Lucas when he gets back to his dorm. Mark noticed a silhouette as he walked toward his dorm room. A girl who seem to be curled up into a ball right on front of his door.
Was it a ghost?
Her hair is long and wearing a floral dress.
It can be a ghost.
Deep breaths to release his fear, he went closer. The girl must've heard his footsteps because her head lifted. The girl happens to be Koeun.
Mark Lee glanced at his wrist watch to see the time. It was already 10PM. At this cold late night Koeun hugged herself with only her floral dress to keep her warm.
"Shit!" he cursed to himself opening his door and turning on the heater. He even rushed to his bed to get his comforter to wrap around her.
"Why are you here this late?" Mark asked watching Koeun as she yawned, glancing at her own wristwatch.
"Shit!" she cursed. She didn't notice the time while waiting for Mark Lee. She was supposed to borrow something again since Mark forgot to text her before going to Areum's.
Of course Mark knew why she's here. He felt awful that he forgot to text her while he was hanging out with some friends she would've tasted those cookies and brownies that they made.
"I was just thinking about borrowing a ruler." she shyly told him. Mark felt more guilty now. If only he was here she would've got what she needed and went to bed early.
"How about I make you a coffee?" he offered going to his kitchen to make coffee. The thing is, he didn't know which type of coffee that Koeun likes. They're not yet that close.
He just made what he usually make for himself. He made two cups for the two of them.
"Here." he slid one across the table for Koeun before sitting across her. She look alive again after having a sip of the coffee.
"Bu the way, where's Lucas?" Koeun asked. She felt anxious that he might show up all of a sudden. She really wanted to be alone with Mark right now.
"Lucas is with Areum." Mark told her, "They said they have something important to talk about."
"I see." Koeun wanted to have that kind of relationship with Mark too, a level where they need to talk about something important too.
She always come here and have a little talk with him. Ask different questions everyday and shake different stories but her relationship with Mark never progressed. She was asked to he his date last Social Night but nothing has changed. Everything that happens today would be gone by tomorrow. Just like in Cinderella, all the magic disappear by midnight.
