Luke: Reumie didn't sleep?

Reumie: I forgot

Luke: Other students forget to review or do projects while you forgot to sleep. That's not good for your health Reumie

Reumie: It's fine. I'm fine. I only have 1 subject today. I can sleep the rest of the day. Text you later after the quiz.

Luke: Cool then. Do well today😁

Areum shut down her computer and stared at her notes. Reading a neverending definitions and procedures she just researched just to get her mind off of Lucas.

Obviously they didn't help because she spent all night long trying reading and didn't even sleep because every time she's not memorizing, her brain tends to bring up Lucas and wonder why he moved here.

She wanted to think that it is only because of Mark Lee but she couldn't help but have this little hope inside her that she was one of the reasons. She wanted to be one of the reasons.

It's not a crime to wish that he feels the same way too.

This is what happens because her friends know who she likes and they tend to jump into conclusions. They see one move and they connect it all with her.

And since she's this stupid girl who likes Lucas. She wanted to believe everything they're saying.

Would it be a crime if she's waiting for something to happen?

Can they really call her stupid for believing that Lucas might like her back?

She checked her phone and red her first conversation with Luke. He's not bad. He's becoming funnier and feel more like a human being. Maybe he can stop her thoughts about Lucas

What a coincidence.

She gathered her stuff before preparing to school. One Subject and she's done for the day. She can sleep then. For some reason class make her sleep.

If only she can go to class at night so she would feel sleepy after 8PM.

Areum went to school and saw Raehee. She's already smiling. She's probably going to talk about Lucas moving next to Areum's building.

Maybe she thought that it was sweet and as beautiful as a Korean Drama but the truth is, the buildings were separated. You can't really have a chance to ran into each other.

Downstairs was a really wide park with all the trees and flowers. It's impossible that the two of them would walk at the same path.

And since it's a public place, you can't really hang there alone hoping to see him because you will look like a weirdo.

People stay inside these days and stay on the internet. Not hang outside for some fresh air and stare into blank. That's weird. That's nonsense.

Nobody does that.

"So, how did it go?" Raehee asked her.

"I'm ready just in case there's a surprise quiz." Areum answered not even opening a topic that can discuss Lucas.
