Chapter 20 - Fourth Destination

Lucas placed Areum's tray on their table, asking her to sit with him for a while, shooing away Jungwoo and Doyoung.

He took his old wallet to see his picture with his sister. "She's ten years older than me. This picture was taken when I was 12 years old. She was 22 years old then." he said before closing his wallet.

They both stared at each other in the eye. "That day of the entrance exam, you came and I though she was haunting me. You walked in and I thought it was her. You looked exactly how I remembered her, so I stared." he admitted.

"It started that way. After exam, I wanted to talk to you and tell you that you look like my sister but then I had to think twice because it'll make us awkward if I tell you that you look like my dead sister." wiped his face with his palm like a habit.

"I was so tempted to hang with you after the entrance exam that I peaked at your answer sheet to see which Department you're applying for. BSRT, I thought it stand for Rad Tech." he chuckled making Areum smile too. It turns out Ten relayed the right info and Seulgi told it to Raehee without adding and subtracting information.

"That day when I barged into your classroom, I was looking for you. I wanted to see you. I was desperate to see you but I know that it was more than the reason that I wanted to see my sister. I barged in, looked around and you were there. I almost cried in joy. Because I knew that I had to see you. You have became the reason why I wanted to continue studying here in the first place." he said.

Areum was speechless. It was weird.

"So, do you like me because you see your sister in me?" she asked, even though it was awkward. Lucas chuckled shoving a piece of chocolate cake in Areum's mouth and having a bite of his ramyun while it was still hot.

"Well, that's how it started, but then I saw the real you. For starters my sister isn't this sassy. Then you just had to kick me to reality. I woke up." he gestured at her. "I don't see her in you anymore but that's when I got desperate to get close to you." he ended it there but none of Areum's thoughts were put to rest.

Does he like her back?

"I'll tell you the rest when we get home. Change your clothes right away and bring reviewers." Lucas told her. "Let's eat for now." he must've noticed she was still curious about other things.

"Park Jisuuuuuuuung!" a loud scream from across the room was heard. It was Yongchae, and her last scare most definitely. She really needs to get kicked out.

Jisung only showed himself to wave goodbye to her.

"You did this. One day we'll meet again and I'm going to do the same thing to you." She gave him a warning.

"Can't wait." he said watching her walk away.

"What is she talking about when she said do the same thing to you?" Donghyuck asked. It sounds threatening.

"She did that to herself, trust me." Jisung told him before joining Herin to eat their early lunch.

Everybody moved on just like that, but Herin was concerned that Yongchae might show up and harm Jisung one day. Was she serious when she said it?

After early lunch, Areum had to go ahead and leave the cafeteria with her friends. In the hallways, someone waved at her. A guy with dark hair wearing a Med Tech uniform and reading glasses.

It was Hangyeom.

He's seen that guy everywhere and even a sit in once at Mr. Sehun's class. It didn't occur to her that she's seen him before when she met him at the party because she looks something else when he's wearing his own clothes.
