My friend had dared me to sneak into a mental hospital.

Was she crazy?

Obviously, because we don't know what lies beneath those walls. The people in their are locked up for a reason not to socialize with people who are actually sane.

When I told my friend that she just gave a speech about how we shouldn't judge them and not to believe what people say about Fell's Mental Institution facility.

So here I was in the tunnels of our

local mental institution. The reason I didn't back out was because I could not stand the fact of being called a chicken and I think she knew it.

"When's the last time this place has been cleaned out?" I coughed, waved my arms in the air.

Haley rolled her eyes but continued walking.

"Won't we get caught?" I asked.

"Of course not. I've been planning this out for months. We see a few things then we leave. Easy as that."

I breathed out. "And you just had to bring me along?"

"What are best friends for?"

We reached a door like a door on a vault where you had to spin it a certain way and it opened. That was the kind of door that was in front of me.

Haley put her hands on the silver rusted bar and made a effort to turn it but it didn't quite work out. "This thing but be fifty years old." She grunted, "Are you going to help me?"

I rolled my eyes, placing both my hands on the vault the same way she did.

"On the count of three..1..2...3." then we pushed. A clicking sound was indicated meaning the fault was open.

I helped her push the vault door back.

"Now that we are done, lets go explore." She smiled.

"Do you not realize this place has security cameras and guards?" I asked.

She waved me off, crawling threw the hole. "Yeah I realize that but if we get caught we say we're crazy then spend a couple of months here then let free."

I grabbed her arm. "We can't do this its insane."

"What? Are you scared? Chicken!"

I bit my lip, following her inside. "Of course not."

We crawled our way up another tunnel until coming out in a room. Which seemed like the basement. It had old chairs and stuff they must've used at one time.

"Now what?"

She opened her book bag and pulled out a blueprint. "We need to make our way upstairs then we'll figure it out then."

So after us walking two flights of stairs we got to the main hall.

"It's clear."

We trudged our way down the hallway a few ways. As we walked down a boy emerged from another hallway. He wore a Ramones T-Shirt and nurse pants with slippers. His hair was all different sorts of colors meaning Red,Blue,Green, and Yellow. They all collided over to make one master piece that was exquiste.

We locked eyes and he sent me a small smile in which I returned.

"That boy must be nuts if his hair is rainbow." Haley whispered.

I smiled lightly. "I liked it."

She just ignored me the rest of the way.

"Excuse me?" Someone said behind us.

"Run." Haley pulled me.

We started to run.

"Stop!" He breathed, "We got two patients trying to escape on east side." He called out.

We came upon a dead end and haley mumbled a few cuss words.

"Its looks like you're trapped." The man rubbed his hands together.

"Not quite." Haley said, sliding in between his legs and running off. He made no attempt to try to catch her he just mumbled a few stuff into his walkie talkie and that was it.

"Let's get you locked up in your cell." He came forward.

"I'm not a patient." I backed up into the wall.

I tried to fight him off but he got the upper hand and inserted a needle into my neck and I was out.
