Chapter 1: Time to start the day

A/n: A new fanfic.  Wow.  The first chapters may be boring  at first becuase becuase it is talking about the fanfics characters stories and how they are different. But it will get crazy. Also Evan will still have a broken arm. The only difference is Conner didn't kill himself. Or he could of tried but evan stopped him in a different way. Also they are still seniors and the bmc is still joinors.  this will have ships. But that will come later Also a few chapters heere and there will have that chapter just for that character. van POV

"Evan!!" 

My eyes shot open.  Why was someone screaming my name!?  Was mom dying?!  Am I going to die?!  Wait. My mom isn't here.  Oh god someone broke in my house oh god.

I jumped out of bed and ran to the door but vefore I locked it the door vurst open making me fall back letting out a scream.

"MORIN EVAN!" A guy in glasses yelled looking down at me smiling.

"JARED!" I snapped. "You al-al-almost killed me!" I said as I squeezed my chest calming down.

"Well come on. Your goning to be late!"

"W.. Wha?" I slowly stood up.

Jared rolled his eyes.  "School. You are going to be late for our new school.  A/n: in this fanfic they live in new York  but then moved again to new Jersey and zoned for the school.

Realization hit me.  "OH GOD. W-WHY DIDNT CO-CONNOR COME GET ME?!" I said as I ran to the restroom

"He did. We were outside for 20 minutes. Didn't you hear us?"

I peered outside the bathroom doors shaking my head.

"No.. I-is ar-re you and Co-onnor waiting n-now?"

"Nah.  We just happened to wake you up and say you are late for school- OF COURSE WE WERE WAITING!"

"S-sorry" I said shrinking back

Jared saw me and sighed. "Sorry I yelled Ev.  Just try to be fast ok? We have McDonald's waiting~" 
I smiled.  "Ok."

20 mins later

I sat in the backseat and closed the door.

"What took you do long Ev?" Conner said and gave me the food. Jared started the started the car up as we drove off

"S-sorry. I took forver." I said as I took a bit in thr Hamburger.

"It's fine. We can almost make it in time."

"So you ready for a new school?" Connor asked. I nodded.

"Oh a-and I found that I um I am ge-etting my cast off In-in a few months!"

Both Jared and Corner looked each other and I could see guilt in their eyes. Connor is a good friend now.  But at the begining last year we didn't know each other. He was the one who saw my letters to myself and put the pieces together in seconds. Ever since then he became an amazing friend. Saying he didn't want me to end up like him, helping me out in joinor year. Now Jared felt so guilty when he found out for the first time. When he heard I let go. It was the first and probably last time he acted sad and cried that me and Connor know about.

"-llo? Earth to Evan?" Connor said.

I snapped out of thinking.  "Y-yeah?"

"Did you hear us?" Jared snickered.
