Chapter 4 (I). No Forgiveness

Mia Cooper | 11:43pm | Forest (Fire Side)

I took off my cloak, the flames were expelling too much heat into the atmosphere. I keep running somewhere to get out of the forest.

"Help," a voice cries from somewhere. I look around to see where it came from and I could see a flashing light in the distance.

A branch from a tree falls in front of me, "Shit!" I shout in shock.

I can't leave that person, it was only meant to be a prank, fucking things went out of hand.

I run to the flashing light and I could see Jordy trying to pull his leg out of the tree trunk that must of have fallen onto his leg.

"You! Help me please!" Jordy pleads.

Doesn't this dude recognise it's me? Mia fucking Cooper.

I ran by his and try to pull him out, but he was really stuck. I start coughing as I realise I've been inhaling smoke for a while now.

"Don't leave!" I watch as Jordy tries to pull himself out.

I'm sorry Jordy. I'm sorry I brought you here..

I start to take off, "Don't leave you stupid BTICH!" I turn around as Jordy's voice change into a deeper pitch.

I turn back and I saw the most fucked up thing anyone could see. Jordy's bones were changing inside of him, piercing through its skin. Jordy didn't exist anymore, a giant human-like monster sat in front of me.

The thing starts shrieking and crying as it starts to rip off it's leg that's stuck under the tree trunk.

But I didn't stay to await what it would do when it escapes.

I could hear the shriek fade away as I ran through the forest that's not burnt yet. I push bushes and leaves out of the way, jump over wooden logs and creeks. I finally make it to the hotel, but as I was about to walk inside, something hard smashes at the back of my head and everything turns black.

Everyone was arguing around the unconscious girl that we all know too well, Mia Cooper. "Why did you hit her head?" I could hear Lacie shout at Alex as I continue to stare at Mia.

Mia looks the same, but now she's glowing, looking more alive than when she being bullied a year back. "How did she survive?" I turn to Wayde who was sitting on the counter.

"I honestly don't know, apparently Mitch saw Mia through his window and ran in, but he must of not known she survived," Wayde informs me.

"Well she's fucking crazy!" Alex yells at Mia who was still unconscious.

"Hannah died as well," Lacie finally speaks, "The earthquake practically killed her."

What! That's so fucked up.

"Wait what? How did the earthquake kill her?" Elizabeth questions.

"I fucking saw it right in front of me," Lacie starts to cross her arms and turn the other direction gaging.

"Hannah, Mia and I were all in this," Wayde mentions, "We all drugged you, brought you here and wanted to torment you, but things changed.

"The boat was not suppose to explode, or Hannah to be killed and the fucking creatures out there, who the fuck knows what they are," Wayde lays down on the counter and sighs.

"There's one of those creature down in the basement," Elizabeth randomly states.

We all turn around to her and then face the basement door. "You're joking right?" I tell her.

"I'm serious, there's something down there."

"We can't stay here, we can't-" Lacie gets cut off.

The power goes out. Screams and shouting all over the place. The lights turn on and Mia goes missing.

"Where did she go?!" Wayde points out as we stare at the missing person.

"It was Alex," we all turn to Lacie who was standing near the basement door, "I saw him push her down the stairs."

And then it hits me, I have been so worried about escaping alive, I have forgotten what Alex has done to me.

"Honestly I'm not surprised," I step in.

"Shut the fuck up!" Alex shouts, "Like you have an proof-"

"Hey guys! Did you know before Wayde, Mia and Hannah took us away, Alex punched me in the face?"

I push my hair behind my ears and revel the bruise mark. "He's uncontrollable, he has horrible anger issues."

"You keep your mouth shut you fucking bitch!" Alex points at me.

"You know," Wayde cuts in, "Alex was getting sent to the same cabin as Abby, so why isn't she with you?"

James comes running downstairs from Brock's room. "Guys! I need your help, Brock is convulsing." All of us walk to the stairs, but Alex in front of us, with Lacie, Wayde and Brock already through the gate, Alex closes the gate door that leads upstairs and locks us in the main hall.

"What are you doing Alex?" Alex slowly turns around and I could see his pocket knife.

"Alex, are you seriously going to-"

"Alex, are you seriously going to kill you all," the voice coming out his mouth was completely the same as mine.

Wayde holds onto the gate and starts shaking it, "HE'S ONE OF THEM!"

Elizabeth and I run.
