Breaching Daylight

Prologue (IX). Alex Kensington

Alex Kensington | 2 years before | Boat

"Isn't this kind of illegal?" Lacie asks me as I drive the boat towards land. 

"Not really," I reply, "I mean my parents have good connections with lawyers, so we're fine."

Lacie relaxes onto the yacht as I control the boat to head to the mainland. When the police had arrived, Lacie and I instantly went for the yacht because we didn't want them to find us with drugs in our bags.

"Oi!" Lacie calls out as I ignore her. "OI ALEX!" 

"WHAT?!" I shout angrily. 

"I hear a phone ringing!" Lacie explains.

I put the yacht on auto-drive as I go down a platform to where the couches were. "Where?" I ask.

"In the kitchen I think," Lacie lazily says, "I don't know, find it yourself."

I walk into the inside of the yacht which was comprised of the kitchen, mini lounge, bathroom and one room. 

I could see a phone, but not my phone on the kitchen counter. I open the phone and there were several videos sent to this phone.

I open the first file and in shock I saw Chris.

"Help me! I-I-I been shot!" Chris cries for help but I turn off the phone.

Fuck I need to show this to the police. But, what if the police investigates me?

I did the most stupidest thing I could think of and threw my phone into the ocean.

"Why did you throw your phone?" Lacie asks.

"It had the dealer's contact," I bullshit to Lacie.

"Whatever, at least you aren't dumb as I thought."

"Oh, shut up bitch."

Alex Kensington | 1 year before | School Car Park

Mitch was talking to Abby in the car park. I could see Abby start tearing up as she looks at the floor. 

"Oi! Oi!" I yell at Mitch, "Is this how you treat a lady?" Mitch turns to me and gives me the finger.

"Fuck off, we don't need people minding into our business."

"Oh yes we do," I scold at him, "Is Mitch bothering you Abby?" 

Abby just weeps, "It's-it's alright."

"No it isn't!" I go up to Mitch acting tough as Mitch pushes me, "Back off bro!"

However I threw a punch and knock Mitch onto the floor as Mitch slowly gets up off the floor.

"You little TWAT!" Mitch rushes up to me and pushes me to the ground and that's when people start to crowd us.

"HEY, HEY! YOU TWO IN MY OFFICE NOW!" The principal shouts at us as he leaves the front of the school.

Mitch and I go into the principal office and spend 10 minutes talking about how we got detention for two weeks.

As I leave the office, Abby pulls me from the side of the office and kisses me on the lips.

"Thanks for standing up for me today Alex, but you didn't had to fight and make it public that I'm breaking up with Mitch."

I chuckle as Abby hugs me, "Mitch wanted to take a break because I haven't been very responding to him lately, what an ass," Abby hugs me tighter.

Abby kisses my cheek again, "Lets make it official," Abby winks at me as Abby runs off and I could see her bump into Mia, the freak who killed Chris.

A Day Later...

My phone rings and I groggily reach out my phone and check it, I get up excited when it was Abby. But she tells me the news of Mia, and told me that she had murdered her.
