Prologue (X). Wayde Monroe

Wayde Monroe | 2 years before | Hotel Room 5

I was in the room with Hannah and I sat there quietly as she was lying on the couch. "They're so loud down there, maybe we should go down there and have fun, after all Chris invited us," Hannah states.

"Yeah I don't mind, but Hannah I have to say something," I say quietly.

"Yeah, what's up?" Hannah questions as she looks at me.

I gulp my saliva. Look I haven't told anyone yet and you've been a good friend and I just have to tell someone, at least someone in the real world to know who I really am.

Hannah starts to laugh, "I know what you're going to say, you're uh gay right?" Hannah questions.

I sat up on the couch in shock.

How the hell did she know?

"I mean I think you are, I see the way you stare at certain people," Hannah says quietly, "Also I'm bisexual so I should know as well."

I could hear a scream, from above me. "Mia?" I mutter to myself.

"Wait is that Mia?" Hannah questions as both of us ran to the stairs and to the highest floor.

"Mia!?" I shout

A person came running down the stairs and bumped us. I took a quick glance I saw Jordy in a hood.

"Hey Jordy! Come-"

"Wayde! Come on! We got to go to Mia!" Hannah pulls me.

I look at Jordy climb down the stairs as Hannah and I climb the stairs and finally reach the top floor.

We burst into the room and we could see shards of glass all over by the window, as well as Mia cuddle up in a corner.

"Mia! Are you alright?" Hannah kneels down to her as Mia points to the window.

"Something took Ch-Ch-"

"Chris?" I spoke for Mia.

"We have to find him," Mia says quietly.

"Mia you had a lot to drink, you're probably-"

"I saw what I saw!" Mia starts crying."

Mitch and Andrew comes bursting into the room, "What happened? We heard,"

Mitch was cut off with Chris' screaming coming far from the forest.

What is going on here?!

I was carrying Heidi with Hannah and Mia helping me. We brought her to the room Heidi had from two years ago.

"I think she's the last," Mia gleefully states as she takes off her rubber gloves.

"We need to get in our beds in 10 minutes Hannah," I inform her as I set a timer.

"Hopefully between 10-30 minutes everyone will be awake," Mia announces as all three of us walk out of the hotel.

"I honestly hope these people pay for what they did to Chris."

Hannah and I stare at each other, "I thought we were doing this for you?" I question as I approach her from behind.

"Uh yeah, that too, but they basically let Chris die," Mia quietly states, "he was like a big bro to me."

My watch goes off and I took off my cloak, as well as Hannah. "We're going to head off," I tell Mia who sat there.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll see you soon."

Hannah and I walk up the stairs and I wave her goodbye as her room was ok the bottom floor.

I could hear some noise coming from Layla's room, but it was barely audible.

Shit! Layla is already awake?

I could hear screams as I realise that she must of noticed where she was, but I ran off before I could hear anything else.

As I close my door I thought I heard a faint for a cry for help, but I didn't want to ruin the prank, so I lay in bed and close my eyes.
