We walked through the old forest.
"Where is it?" Gentle whispered. "Ssh! Nobody knows!" Better
whisper-yelled. All out of the sudden, a roar boomed through the forest. Our ears folded down against our heads to block out the ear piercing roar. Our hackles stood up and our eyes widened. A squeal escaped Gentle's, and my throat, and a growl from the triplets. We swung around from right to left and didn't see anything. We heard it again but louder this time and we all meowed sadly. The roar sounded almost like a roar of grief or pain. "We should see what's wrong?" Gentle said, her fur standing up, and ears tucked, like all of us. "Right..." I said. "No, let's find the leopard so we can get out of here!" Better said. "No, let's get out of here right now!" Backstab said. "Let's go get R, then come back and get the leopard." Snicker said. "But whoever that is, is in trouble!" I yelled, and lifted my ears up a little, but as we heard another roar I tucked them back in. The roar sounded weaker.
"I'm going, whoever wants can follow!" I said running towards the fading noise. Gentle came after me, and after the triplets giving each other a look, they followed.

The noise took us to a rock that went like a den roof for a few meters, maybe three. It was surrounded by trees and the floor was covered in dead leaves, like the rest of the forest.

We saw a male leopard sitting in front of the den. It was the same one from earlier. His ears were up, and he was on alert. Inside the cave, I saw a female leopard. It looked the same age as the male.

I strained my eyes to see what was going on down there. I gasped as I saw five baby leopards in front of the female.

The male leopard, which seemed to be the father, swung his head around. He spotted us. "Just don't move, and he won't know your here" Snicker said quietly. "Yeah right!" Better said whispering. "Ssh...it's worth a try" Gentle said, standing still as she could.
The leopard seemed to recognize us from before. He crocked his head to the side and put on a face that looked slightly worried, but for us. He walked slowly towards us. His ears were flicking at every sound.
"Can we ran now?" Better said worriedly. "Um...yes?" Snicker said, and we all bolted the other way.
The leopard pulled back slightly, then sprung forwards, after us. He grabbed the closest kitten to him. Me.
I scream-meowed and tried to escape his grasp. I frantically tried clawing the leopards face. The leopard put me close to the floor, so I was on my stomach and unable to move. He then grabbed me by the scruff of the neck and lifted me with his mouth.
"Gentle! Better! Backstab! Snicker! Help!" I wriggled around, trying to get free. But the leopard was holding me firmly, and I gave up trying. "Guys!" I yelped. They all hid behind a tree nearby. They looked at each other and said something, too quiet for me to hear. 'Hopefully they are talking about how there going to save me...' I thought hopefully. Gentle gave me a last glance, then they all ran off.
'Please find help...'

The leopard dropped me in front of the leopard kittens and mother. The male stood in the exit. I was trapped.
I turned around to see five kittens in the corner...and a sixth? I walked slowly up to the sixth. It looked sick. I paused i next to it. It was limp. 'What's wrong with it?' I tapped it on the shoulder, and it didn't budge. I then realized there was no heartbeat. It was dead. I hung my head low. ' Poor kitten...' I looked at the other kittens. They jumped on me and bit my ear softly. They playfully attacked me. ' They seem nice...'
The female walked beside us after about ten minutes of playing. She pulled all the kittens, including me, towards her with her paw. They all lay down and fell asleep. ' Lucky kittens get a mother...and a father.' I thought before drifting into a light sleep.

"Muahahaaa!" I curled up in a ball. Nightmares haunted me every night. I couldn't take it. 'Mother always wanted me to be nice to Wildfire and Fear if I ever met them. But no...if I ever meet them...I'm going to kill them! I'm going to kill them! You hear that Wildfire!? Hear that Fear!? If your out there! I'm gonna kill you! Kill you!!!'

I awoke, the tips of my ears burning, I looked around and for a moment. I couldn't remember how I got here. But now I remembered. I looked around. They were all still sleeping. I saw Savage, Gorgeous's little brother, poke his head into the entrance, and made a signal say 'come' with his head.
I looked around at the leopards and then back to Savage. He was gone now. I wondered if I was just imagining, then I decided this was a good time to escape anyways.
I slowly stood up, being careful not to wake up any leopards. I stepped gently with my paws on the stone floor. The den smelt of dead animal now. I looked at the dead kitten. 'Do leopards know how to bury people?' I thought. I felt kinda bad now. 'There just going to leave it here?'

I turned around and went to the kittens side. I made up my mind now.
I grabbed the body by the back of the neck. It tasted really gross. I dragged it carefully towards the exit. I saw Savage, R, and two identical black cats and a Silken WindHound dog. "What are you doing?" Savage asked with his scratchy voice. Better, Snicker, Backstab, and Gentle popped out from behind the others.
"These leopards kitten died, leopards don't know how to bury the dead do they?" I asked. The dog shook his head. "Nope"
"I want to bury it"  I said confidently.
R nodded. "Then let's get started" The two identical black cats said at the same time. We all went right in front of the den, in the corner, and began digging. We all dug with our claws and paws as fast as we could, without waking the other leopards. We finished digging, and I placed the body inside the kitten sized hole we made for it.
We all covered the hole up with soil and dirt now. The Silken WindHound placed a stone, about the size of myself, in front of the grave. " perfect, they can write whatever they like now" The dog smiled. "What's your name anyways kit?" The dog asked.
"Bluewhiskers" I smiled back. "I'm Silver. Nice to meet you" The dog named Silver said, then walked away.
"Let's go" Savage nudged me then started leading the others away. Snicker, Backstab, and Better walked beside him, and the others followed.

I looked at the blank gravestone. I stared at it for a few seconds, then took out my sharp claw, and wrote on the stone:

Died as a kitten. Never got a long life. Probably barely knew your parents. And they never had time to get to know you. But one day you will meet them. And one day you will see. More people befriended for you, and sacrificed for you, than you ever knew existed. Bluewhiskers ❤

I smiled at the stone now. Writing this made me remember my family. 'I should write them a letter! Let them know I'm okay!' I thought. 'But for now, some other animals are waiting for me' I thought, then ran after Savage, and the others. I looked back at the grave for a moment, then looked in front of me again. 'That was nice of me...that's something Wildfire and Fear could never do. That proves who's stronger. Strength comes from the heart. But if you don't have a heart, your weak.'

I was walking beside the identical black cats, towards the clan territory.
"So, what are your names?" I asked the identical cats. I could see them up close now, and I realized they're not exactly identical. One has yellow eyes, the other has green.

"I'm Pitch. This is my twin bro, Black. We're patrollers. And you are?" The cat with yellow eyes said. "I'm an apprentice patroller, Bluewhiskers. I'm new to the clan." I introduced myself. "Cool!" He said, and his left eyes rolled sideways so his pupil was pointed down and his other one stayed looking at me, as if it was loose. 'Ew...' His right eye now rolled out ways. "Um...your eyes..." I was kind of concerned. "Oh, yeah! Not sure what's up with those two eyes either..." Pitch swung his head one way and his eyes rolled around. I stared at him swing his head around, and his eyes rolling around. I stared at how weird this moment was. My chest was ached with pain as I tried to hold in my laughter. 'Nope that's it!' I started cracking up laughing, along with Black. Soon Pitch joined in laughing. Their eyes rolled around everywhere.
The other cats and dogs looked back at us laughing our heads off. 'This must look so weird' I thought.

When we got home, we all went to our dens and lay down, still laughing. Your too happy. You have forgotten about us haven't you?
I heard Fear's voice from behind me. I spun around to see an empty den. Nobody. I took a deep breath. This is going to be a long night.
