Chapter 11

"Help!" I caught everyone's attention.
Blackhawk turned around and looked into my fear filled eyes. He growled viciously.
"You get your jaws off of her, you filthy Hyena!" He tackled Bloodthirsty once more. Bloodthirsty howled in surprise, letting me free.
I looked around at every cat and dog, fighting. 'What do I do?' I thought.

"Ugh!" I heard a bark of pain behind me, so I flung around to see Bloodthirsty with a missing eye, and blood spilled down her face.
"I will return!" She barked, running off into the forest, with her pack behind her.

I flopped on the floor in relief.
"Attention Horizoners!" Gorgeous called. That must have been what the animals in the Horizon clan were called; Horizoners.
"This territory is no longer safe!" She said, as I stood up to get a better look at her. Her left ear was torn at the top, and she had the slice on her face, that went over her nose, and down to her neck, which Bloodthirsty gave her earlier.
"First there were those two cats, Wildsmoke and Fearless, now a whole pack is after us!" She said.
The clan whispered amongst themselves.
"So what are you suggesting?" Savage asked. "For us to move to a place, that who knows how many more dangers it has?" He sounded angry, which I couldn't blame him for. The clan murmured in aggressive agreement.

"We have to give it a try" she said.
"Then we can sort stuff out" she said, looking at Curious, Stubborn, Blackhawk, and the cat Fuz, that Gorgeous had mentioned when Clawpaw first arrived. They were all standing around Shepherd's body.

Gorgeous turned around and began walking, followed by Silence, who walked closely behind her. Curious and Stubborn grabbed Shepherd's body, and began walking too.
Blackhawk walked next to me as I started walking. "You okay?" He asked. "Yeah" I nodded, feeling my fur, slightly wet with blood, rub against my neck, that stung in pain.
I hadn't noticed it earlier.

It had been three days since we left the territory. It was the most boring trip ever, but gladly safe. All that happened was walking.

We walked through an abandoned looking forest. Even some of the trees were black and rotten looking. "This place gives me the creeps" I whispered. Again everyone was in there own bubble, and kind of ignored each other, making the trip that much more boring. No one was happy.

But the more we walked, the fresher and greener it looked. After a few hours of walking, we saw a beautiful looking place. There was a big water hole, and green grass, and a few fresh green trees surrounding the whole thing. "This is beautiful..." Darkpelt said dreamily. "This looks like the perfect place" Gorgeous said.
"Do you guys like it?" Gorgeous turned to the clan. "Yeah!" The clan cheered.

"Then it's a keeper! But a team of patrollers need to check the place out, right away" Gorgeous turned to
team A. They nodded and ran off into the trees. "Clawpaw, you can join team A now, there being no team C and all" Gorgeous said softly.
"You know what I think?" Red asked, pacing back and forward.
"I think Bloodthirsty must have left a traitor here, to spy and get information off our clan" Red stopped pacing in front of Gorgeous and Clawpaw.
"And do you know who that is?" Clawpaw and Gorgeous exchanged a confused look. "The one who joined the team the day Bloodthirsty attacked... The one who was so confident she wanted to join team C patrollers...Clawpaw!!" Red shouted.
'That actually makes sense... But we can't judge her until we have proof' I thought.
"What? You suspect me?! I finally find a clan, and that happened to be the day your teams went wild?" Clawpaw spat out her words.
"Alright...give me one good reason that you chose team C?" Red asked, starting to clench his teeth.
"Well...I dont know! I thought team A had too little people, and team B was all cats-" Clawpaw was cut off.
"Whats so bad about cats? Why would you want to be in a team of dogs? Because your precious alpha is a dog?" Red was really making sense.
