Gorgeous lead the clan members who were going to help find Gentle, into the forest. "Wait!" A voice said from behind us, right before we entered.
It was Better. "I-i will come too" she said nervously. "I felt bad that Bluewhiskers was going with a group of adults, so I thought I'd keep her company!" Better said happily.
Gorgeous nodded. "But you know, Better, this isn't about keeping company, whether you decide to stay here or come with us, it could be a life or death decision. That goes for you too Bluewhiskers" Gorgeous said, looking at both of us. "Gentle is my friend, I wouldn't just leave her, I wouldn't want her to leave me" I said. Better smiled. "We will be fine!"

Gorgeous sighed. "Okay..."
We continued walking through the forest. It was safe so far. Until Gorgeous stopped. "I don't think we should split up again..." Savage said.
"I agree...but that means that it will take longer than last time. But once it's almost sunset, we will head back, and continue tomorrow" Gorgeous said.
"How do we know when it's sunset? Its always dark in here" Bulk said.
"I'm sure we would be able to tell" Gorgeous shrugged.

After a few hours of walking, an odd smell filled the air. "Do you smell that?" I asked Better, who stood next to me. "Yeah..." Better mumbled.
Everyone seemed to be on edge now.
The smell got stronger and stronger.
I had never smelt this smell before...
Except, sometimes when I'd sniff hard around mother's den...
I thought hard about it. What's under mothers den?....fathers grave...
It was the smell of rotting flesh.
"Oh no, oh no" Darkpelt whispered. Everyone turned to see the cause of the horrible smell. It was a female, young adult Doberman dog. She lay limp on the floor, as fly's ate at her dead corps. "She must be one of Bloodthirsty's dogs, who wandered in here" Gorgeous said. "I guess not everyone was as lucky as you were to escape alive..." Killer said. "We should keep moving..." Gorgeous said softly.
"Without burying her?" I asked.
"Did you not hear us? She's most likely part of our enemy pack" Savage growled. "But that dog had a family, she probably had pups, that are waiting for her to return right now. And no matter how evil somebody is...somebody out there still loves them.." I said. Savage and Gorgeous exchanged a look. "Fine..." Gorgeous said unsure. "But let's do it quickly"

We all quickly covered the dogs body with soil, as Darkpelt and R kept guard. I picked up some twigs, and put them on top. No flowers in this place...
Blackhawk lifted a stone and lay it on top. "Maybe the shadow can write some stuff down on her grave stone..." Blackhawk shrugged. "Alright let's get moving" Gorgeous said.

We started walking again. I looked around to make sure nothing was stalking us. There was a snap, like somebody stepped on a twig. Everyone exchanged a worried look.
"Everyone..." Gorgeous started.
"Stay...calm..." Everyone looked around to see what could have stepped on the twig.

Yellow eyes emerged from the blackness. "Run!" Better shreiked, and at the sudden loud noise, everyone ran. "Everyone stay together!" Gorgeous yelled. We all ran frantically.
Come on Gentle, come out and we can all go... Everyone stopped abruptly, bumping into each other. I looked up, to see a black cat, with fangs like a vampire, and eyes that glowed yellow.

"Wh-who are you!" I hissed. The cat grinned. "You can call me Vamp" he said, in a low tone. I was shaking uncontrollably now. Everyone's fur was puffed up, making them double the size. "What did you do with Gentle?!" Better hissed, but I could still hear she was frightened.
Gentle popped out from behind Vamp. "Bluewhiskers! Guys!" Gentle meowed, and tackled me to the ground. "Gentle!" I laughed. She got off me, but her eyes were still wide with happiness. "How did you survive?!" Savage asked. "Why didn't you come back?" Gorgeous asked too.
Everyone happily asked Gentle questions, even though there were too many for her to answer. Everyone spoke to Gentle, and forgot about Vamp, who walked back, slowly camouflaging into the darkness.
"Hey!" Savage hissed, but Vamp, was already gone. "Let's get back home" Gorgeous said quickly.

We all arrived in the territory.
"We found Gentle!" Gorgeous announced. Everyone looked happily at the group, and greeted Gentle.
"We also found someone else..." Savage growled. Everyone started screaming their opinions, and nobody could hear each other anymore. I backed away from the screaming cats and dogs, when something white caught my eye. "Flower?!" I called, but I couldn't even hear myself through all the screams. I ran up to Flower as fast as I could. Her white fur was more grey, and there were leaves and sticks tangled in it. "Where have you been?!" I had to scream for her to hear me.
"It's been like, three days!" I yelled.
Flower smiled at me. I noticed in her dirty grey fur, were the dead flower peddles that Flower had wandered off to before Bloodthirsty and her pack had attacked. That must be where she had went. But why? What's so special about that pile of dead flowers?

Gentle padded towards us. "Hey BlueWhiskers!" Gentle screamed so I could hear her. "Hey! Let's go talk somewhere more quiet!" I suggested.
Gentle nodded in agreement.
Me, Flower and Gentle walked a little further away. "So, how did you survive in that forest? Once we entered, some shadow figure started trying to rip us apart." I said.
Gentle sighed. "Vamp.

Me and Clawpaw were walking through the forest that day. When something black ran in front of us. It was all black. All you could see were eyes. Two big yellow eyes. It swiped at me, and I tumbled down a small hill.
I looked up, and the black thing, or as I call it, 'The Eyes', picked up Clawpaw and ran off with her! I stayed quiet so it couldn't find me. But something else did. Two yellow eyes behind me. But they were different. I don't know how. But they were. I turned around with fear in my eyes, and creeping up my pelt. "This isn't a safe place for a kitten" A low voice said. It was a males voice. He grabbed me by the scruff of the neck, and started walking. I was frozen. I didn't know what to do. If I moved it would kill me, if I didn't it would kill me.

But it didn't.

It took me to a hole in the bottom of a large tree. It was somehow brighter in there. I looked up, and there was a hole in the tip top of the tree, that the sunlight was coming through. It was so beautiful. It was so dark in the forest, I didn't even know it was daytime.

I could see better now. The thing that had brought me in here, was a cat. He was pitch black, with yellow eyes. He had a white mark that went over his right eye. And he had two long fangs that reached his chin. He looked like a young adult. Maybe 2 years old.

It was warm and cozy in the tree. The sun heated up my fur. I almost began to pur, when I remembered Clawpaw.
"Wait! My friend!" I said.
"Ssh. This is not a safe place to yell."
He said, in a low tone again.
"But something took my friend" I said, more quiet this time.
"She's not your friend" he said.
'Why not?' I thought curiously.
"Then who is she?" I asked. He stayed silent, not answering. "Not something a kitten wants to hear about." He finally replied. Curiosity crept up my pelt, but i decided not to let it get the best of me.

It was silent for about ten minutes, as I went through all the thousands of things Clawpaw could be. But none of them made sense. So I decided to break the silence. "Who are you?" I asked.
"Call me Vamp" he said. "I'm Gentle" I replied. When I asked 'who are you?' I didn't actually mean
'what's your name?' But I think he knew that.

Nothing very exciting happened after that. Until you guys came!

"I don't know what to say...how does anything add up?" I said in confusion.
"So Vamp has been attacking us, but saved you?" I asked. "No!" Gentle hissed. "I know it's not him!" Gentle said. "If you say so..." I said unsure.
"But I have another question. How did Flower survive going through the forest. Alone." I asked. Flower sat down and licked her paws, ignoring the question. "Flower acts mostly normal in front of you, you know? I have never in my whole life, seen her like this, like she really understands" Gentle whispered. "It's like your the only one she can hear" Gentle continued. "I guess she just likes me?" I said. Gentle tackled me playfully.
"Yeah, and she doesn't like Darkpelt, Runt, or Kit?" Gentle asked, and I replied with a shrug.

My ears pricked up, as I heard Gorgeous. "Attention Horizoners!"
'This can't be good...'
