I couldn't move. My leg was stuck.
I tried to pull, but it just made it worse. The sky was blacker than it should be. There were no stars, moon, and the water from the falls were red like blood. My leg was full of pain. And instead of water splashing on my face, it was blood. I tried to pull my leg out again, but I couldn't move a muscle. Bat an eyelid, I couldn't even feel my heart beating. I closed my eyes, trying to wake up. No matter what I felt, I kept my eyes closed. Until I heard a familiar voice. Rough but gentle. I opened my eyes. Even if this was a dream, I wanted to see my brother again. "Sister" he said, as he smiled softly. "StripeTail?" I tried to reply, but again I couldn't. Everything turned black, so all I could see was StripeTail.
My leg was freed from the rocks, and I quickly stood up. "Listen to me BlueWhiskers" he started. I nodded. I knew I couldn't speak, so I didn't bother. "Listen to the dreams BlueWhiskers... It's a warning... Every dream is a warning... I ignored them...but you can't... You must listen, and obey..." StripeTail said.
I nodded slowly. "You must listen to them, or else-" he was cut off, by a giant brown paw, that landed on top of him. "StripeTail!" I tried to call, but only a soft meow escaped my mouth.
Two yellow eyes opened, and a cat appeared from the darkness. He stood in front of the yellow eyes. He reminded my of StripeTail. But he was older, bigger, and fluffier. He also reminded me of my father. He didn't say anything. I knew what would come next. This was the end of my dream. But I observed the cat. He was a grey Maine coon cat, with hazel eyes, a pink nose, and some darker greyish black stripes and patterns in his fur, just like StripeTail. He looked like how StripeTail would look in about two years from now. The yellow eyes turned to me. "Mount Morgan is a peaceful place...it's the only place you will ever be safe...you think your safe? I watch you. My spies watch you. And your 'friends' watch you. Always. From land, sea, sky, and under the soil." The yellow eyed cat said in an echoed voice. Then in a loud, even more echoed voice, as if there were hundreds of them saying it.
"We're all watching you" then its mouth opened, and swallowed me whole.
