Chapter Three - Will You Be My Girlfriend?
"Thea Montgomery, will you be my girlfriend?" Grant smiled down at me.
I thought about it for a moment and knew my answer.
"No." I said.
"No?" Grant questioned and backed away a bit.
"No." I smiled at him.
"Oh it's a joke. You didn't mean it." Grant chuckled back.
"No I really did mean no." I stated seriously.
"Didn't we just like confess how we felt about each other and kiss passionately?" Grant said while in a confused state.
"Well first off... You did nothing that made me feel special except the kiss. Secondly, if I want someone to take the role of my first real boyfriend than I'm expecting a poster or something." I chuckled.
"Oh I hate you, Thea." Grant chuckled but came up to me and kissed me lightly again.
"Also, I don't date people who say they hate me. Like why are you going to ask me out, if you're just going to say you hate me." I shrugged and laughed.
"Okay... I'll be back. Then, hopefully you say yes to my question." Grant chuckled and lightly pecked my cheek and ran out the door.
"Crazy, crazy boy." I mumbled. I slowly made my way downstairs and saw Alyssa gasp.
"What you actually came out of your cave?" Alyssa chuckled. "But if you came to beat up Grant, he just ran out."
"No, I actually came down her to drag you to my cave." I chuckled and grabbed her wrist and dragged her upstairs then closed my door so that no one would hear the things I was about to say.
"What is it?" Alyssa laughed and sat on the desk chair.
"Grant asked me out." I smiled.
"Oh my goodness! What did you say!" Alyssa excitedly said.
"I said no." I chuckled.
"So you're playing hard to get." Alyssa smirked.
"No, I'm just really in the mood for chocolate so hopefully he gets me some." I smiled cheekily.
"You're such a weirdo." Alyssa sighed and chuckled. "Wait so you and Grant are going to be a thing now."
"I would assume we would." I said.
"Nathaniel is not going to be happy about that." Alyssa said.
"I know but Nathaniel no longer has a say in my life anymore. Not after what he did at the party and how he tried to start a fight with Johnson." I said.
"I would've applauded your brother if he had fought that rude Gilinsky dude." Alyssa scoffed and slightly smiled.
"Maybe let him throw a few punches and then stop the fight." I joked.
"Exactly!" Alyssa jokingly yelled.
"Hey girls,I'm going out for a bit. I'll be back later tonight." I heard my mom say and start walking down the stairs.
