Chapter Eleven - LACMA
One Week Later

I had successfully ignored Johnson for a whole week. I know it was quite the dick move on my behalf but to be honest last time I hung out with him, this whole drama wheel happened.

Grant and I were slowly going back to being the cheesy and loving couple that we were. Alyssa and Gilinsky has gotten to the point where they could tolerate each other without arguing all the damn time at every damn second.

Everything was normal I guess you could say. Besides Johnson actually contacting Shawn to see if he could get me to start talking to Jack. I wasn't budging tho. I know it was technically my fault and Johnson had nothing to do with it but I couldn't risk my relationship.

Not again at least.

"Thea, just talk with him. He's literally calling me every second now just to get me to ask you to talk with him. Plus, it's not cool to ignore a friend like that. Even when he had no fault in that whole argument of yours." Alyssa scolded me.

"I promised Grant—" I began to say but Alyssa cut me off.

"You promised Grant that you wouldn't go out with Johnson alone anymore. You didn't promise him that you wouldn't stop talking with him completely. So call him. Please." Alyssa sighed.

"Not yet." I said and sat down on the couch with the bowl of popcorn and put Netflix on. "Now can we continue watching Thor: Ragnarok?" I asked.

"You're just lucky Chris Hemsworth is in this movie." Alyssa said and sat down next to me.

I played the movie and halfway thru there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it." I said and got up from the couch. I began walking towards the front door and looked through the peephole and saw Johnson.

"You traitor!" I whispered-yelled at Alyssa.

"You'll thank me later." Alyssa said and continued her focus on the movie.

I opened the door but not fully so he couldn't walk in.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"You've been ignoring me. Pretty sure I deserve at least a reason why?" Johnson said seriously.

"I haven't been ignoring you. I've been busy." I shrugged.

"You're lying." He said.

"I'm not." I replied.

"I don't think you notice but your eyes wander away from mine when you lie. Also, you've been leaving work early." Johnson said. "I may have talked with your boss with I was at Island Records."

"You're contacting my boss now. Seriously." I stated.

"You wouldn't talk with me." Jack complained.

"Maybe it's because I'm trying in keep my relationship intact!" I snapped.

"What does that have to do with me?" Jack said in a confused state.

"I don't know. Grant just doesn't want me to hang out with you alone." I sighed and walked outside and sat on the swinging chair on the porch.
