Chapter Five - Forbidden Love
"What the fvck!" Nathaniel said and looked down at Grant and I from the top of the staircase.
I was in some deep shit now and if a fight were to happen, there would be no way that I could stop them. Especially in my injured state.
I guess we just have to wait and see what happens now... and by the looks of it... it won't be pretty.
"Get away from my sister." Nathaniel scowled.
"Stop." I snapped and limped a little so that I was standing in front of Grant so that I could keep Nathaniel away.
"What happened to you? Did he do this? I swear—" Nathaniel began to say but I cut him off.
"No, I fell when I went on a hike with a few friends. Grant took me to the hospital and mom patched me up." I said.
"I would never hurt her. She means too much to me. I'm actually offended that you would ever think that. I've tried so hard to earn your approval because I'm pretty sure Thea would love for us to get along but it's pretty damn clear that you just want to cause problems instead of doing something that would make Thea happy." Grant scowled at him.
"Grant, calm down." I said and placed my hands on his chest while he intensely stared at Nathaniel. "I'm right here and I know you would never do anything to hurt me." I smiled lightly which made Grant look down at me and slowly start to calm down.
"Just leave." Grant sighed and continued to look down at me but his words were towards Nathaniel.
"I'm not leaving until you leave." Nathaniel scowled.
"Nate, don't you have a party to run off to." I scowled back.
"Shouldn't he be at his home instead of ours." Nate snapped.
"Stop it. Now. Don't repeat what happened last time and don't even think that I've forgiven you since that last time." I scowled.
"I forbid this." Nate scowled back and pointed at Grant and I.
"Last time I checked, you weren't my father." I snapped.
"Last time I checked, our father left us which means I'm the man of the house." He snapped back but slowly began to realize what he said.
Everyone knew my father was a sore subject to me. Especially Nathaniel. He experienced first hand on how I handled the whole situation and the amount of pills and therapy it took for me to slowly begin to understand what my father had done.
"I hate you." I snapped and let a tear slip. I began to walk upstairs but before going fully up I gave Nate a hard push which made him stumble. "I hate you."
I limped upstairs and went into my room then locked the door behind me. I slowly slid down my door and just began to cry. I was tired physically and mentally. When I thought life was getting a little better, reality always seems to seep through and break me down again. I closed my eyes and just sank deep into my thoughts.

Meanwhile, Alyssa and G were arguing about what snacks to get.
"Alright, you know what, I'm going to go get some chips, candy and drinks. By the time, I get back you better have chosen a snack together." Johnson sighed and walked away.
