Chapter Sixteen - An Eventful Party
I had woken up the next morning on Saturday to my phone ringing.
"Hello." I answer groggily.
"Hey, sorry I woke you up, didn't I?" I heard Johnson say.
"Yeah but it's okay. What is it?" I asked.
"I wanted to know if you wanted to come to a party that Gilinsky and I are throwing today at 7pm." Johnson asked.
"Yeah that sounds fun." I yawned.
"I'll see you later tonight then." He asked.
"Yup." I answered.
We said our goodbyes and then hung up. I then slowly went back to sleep, only to be woken once more by Grant sitting on my bed and shaking me a little.
"I just need some sleep." I mumbled.
"Yeah but we need to talk." Grant said.
I sat up and pulled the covers over myself so that I'm not cold. I then turned towards him and rubbed my eyes a little to wake myself up.
"Let's talk." I said.
"First, How was yesterday? Was it fun?" Grant asked.
"Oh um... yeah." I said.
"That's good." Grant said but not fully believing my answer. "What did you guys do?"
"Just watching movies like last time." I shrugged.
"What'd you watch?" Grant asked.
"Um Captain America: The First Avenger." I said.
"Really? I remember Alyssa telling me you guys watched Spiderman: Homecoming." Grant raised an eyebrow at me.
"We watched both of those movies. That's why I'm tired. Came in late." I shrugged.
"So where did Johnson and Gilinsky run off to... I heard Alyssa say that they were out for a bit." Grant said.
"Why are you questioning me? It was just a night with Alyssa jeez." I said and got out of bed and into the bathroom with Grant still following.
"Was it? Or was it spent somewhere else?" Grant asked.
"Are you accusing me of something?" I asked and looked up at him.
"Sorta... I guess." Grant shrugged.
"You know where I was... don't you?" I sighed and looked down at my feet.
"Yeah." Grant said and looked down at his hands.
"You know who I saw." I mumbled.
"Did you and Johnson go on a date? Do you not want to fix things anymore? Are we done?" Grant frowned.
"Oh no. Never. Grant, Jack and I didn't go on a date." I chuckled lightly. "I want to fix things with us. I love you." I smiled lightly and placed my arms around his neck.
