Chapter Thirteen - Water Balloon Fight & Serious Arguments

I woke up the next morning, outside and wrapped around Johnson's arms. He had both of his arms holding onto me while I had my hands on top of each other which were on his chest and my head was still leaning against his shoulder while his head was leaning against mine. We had the blanket completely covering us with the birds singing around us.

"Good morning." Johnson smiled and groggily said.

"Good morning." I smiled back and slowly unwrapped myself from his arms and stood up the stretch.

"Did you sleep fine?" Johnson asked.

"Surprisingly, I did." I chuckled and yawned.

"We should go inside." I pointed towards the door.

"Yeah. Go ahead. I'm going to stay back for a bit." Jack smiled.

"See you later." I said and walked inside to see everyone still asleep.

I quietly passed by everyone and then made my way upstairs. I grabbed a quick outfit and took a shower. The outfit I had grabbed was white ripped jeans with a white crop, tank top. I also slid on the green jacket that Johnson had given me with my black plain vans. I let my hair out of my messy bun and straightened it. I did some natural makeup and then grabbed my phone and walked downstairs.

I saw Alyssa barely waking up and Johnson was still probably outside.

"Good morning, sleepyhead." I smiled softly.

"You seem in a good mood." Alyssa groggily said and rubbed her eyes to wake her up a little more.

"I had a good sleep, I guess." I shrugged and smiled.

"You're actually one of the few of us who actually slept in a bed." Alyssa chuckled.

"Yeah.." I said and looked down at my feet.

"You're lying." She looked at me.

"Maybe.." I sighed. "Let's go upstairs." I said and looked at a sleeping Grant.

We both went upstairs and I closed the door behind me.

"Where exactly did you sleep?" Alyssa asked.

"Outside." I mumbled.

"Why?" Alyssa questioned.

"Johnson and I were talking and we didn't want to wake any of you up. We eventually ending up falling asleep and it was actually quite relaxing at night." I said.

"Well I'm glad you went outside at least. For like once in the entire trip, so far." Alyssa chuckled.

"Whatever, let's go make some breakfast before Gilinsky wakes up and makes more chocolate chip pancakes to put syrup on." I laughed and began walking outside with Alyssa right behind me.

We walked into the kitchen and began cooking some bacon, eggs, a few bagels and waffles. We also made some freshly squeezed orange juice and placed bowls of fruit in the middle of the dining table.
