Chapter Four - The Hike

I was scrolling through Instagram in the morning until I got a text from Johnson.

Hey, do you and Alyssa want to go on a hike with Gilinsky and me? ~Johnson

Wait up. Let me ask Alyssa. ~Thea

I quickly called Alyssa so I wouldn't have to type some more.

"Hello." Alyssa said in a groggy voice.

"Alyssa, I'm going to pick you up in 15 minutes because we're going on a hike with Johnson." I said cheerfully.

"Is that one dude going because if he is then I'm not." Alyssa seriously stated.

"Um nooo." I said.

"Okay fine." Alyssa sighed.

"See you soon kiddo." I smiled.

I hung up and then got a text from Grant right after.

Hey wanna do something today? ~Grant

Johnson, Gilinsky, Alyssa and I are going on a hike today. Wanna go with us? ~Thea

Yeah, I guess. ~Grant

Be ready in 15. ~Thea

I then switched chats to Johnson's.

Hey, can Grant come with us on the hike? ~Thea

Yeah, sure. ~Johnson

Alright we'll meet up in 15. ~Thea

Quickly getting off my bed, I changed into black adidas sweats and muscle top. I put my hair in a high ponytail and slid on black adidas shoes.

I grabbed my keys and then made my way downstairs. I grabbed a cold water bottle from the fridge.

I wrote a quick note and stuck it on the fridge then made my way outside. I got into my car and took a deep breath. Then I drove to Grant's house and parked outside of his house. I honked twice and Grant came out.

He sat in the passenger's seat which earned a stern look from me.

"Excuse me sir. Is your name Alyssa Taylor?" I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Uhh no." He said.

"Then you can't sit there. That's reserved for my best friend." I smiled.

"But I'm your boyfriend and best guy friend." Grant said and leaned in close to me.

"You have a point." I smiled and leaned towards him until our noses were touching. "To the back you go."

"Tease." Grant mumbled and got in and then sat in the back seat.

"Love you too." I laughed.

I quickly drove to Alyssa's house and she immediately went to the passenger's seat.

"Oh hey Grant." Alyssa smiled.
