As I walked to my new family I looked over to my old one. My sister was obviously freaking out. My mom was just plain angry and I couldn't see my dad.

Well I knew that was gonna happen.

The other initiates, who were mostly Dauntless born, greeted me excitedly by slamming my back. Don't touch me. I glared at them. That's a bad idea. Do not touch me. They immediately stopped and payed attention to the ceremony again.

In the end almost everyone chose their own faction. We got one guy from Candor and one other guy from Amity.

Everyone shuffled after that Eric guy. First obstacle: stairs. Oh no. I was never good at stairs. I had this quality to just suddenly fall when I was walking on them. But only when going down and it was worse if I had to carry something. Everyone started to run down them and I had no other option then to follow. Okay I can do this.

Finally after twenty stairs of hell I got down. Not even last! The other transfer initiates had found each other and saw me. "What now?" the Amity boy said. I know him! He was in the elevator with us. So he also chose Dauntless... "We follow Eric." I stated.
"Who's that?" One of the Candor girls said. She had blond straight hair and an annoying high pitched voice.
"That's the leader of Dauntless..." If she didn't even know that then why did she even come here? She furrowed her eyebrows and looked at me like I just told her that water can burn.

Well technically water can burn. Water consists of the molecules H ( Hydrogen) and O (Oxygen). When you were to use a battery on the water the atoms would be separated and together form a new molecule called HHO. If you were to put that on fire you would get a small blowtorch.

but her little brain does not need to know that.

"Eric is the one who gave the speech." I stated. "Oooh" she said when the penny finally dropped.
"I'm Isabella by the way and this," she said pointing at the other Candor girl "is Lisa. We're best friends and when she told me that she was gonna join Dauntless I immediately decided to follow her. I mean that's what true friends do right?" she rambled. I noticed that she had almost no muscles and obviously no idea what she just got into. Her friend Lisa looked like she knew what she got into but also still a bit unprepared. She had long wavy brown hair and was skinny, but she had no muscles. "So what's your name?" Isabella asked. Everyone around us began to jog and run again. "We should go." I said and began to run after them. I heard the train in the distance.

The first time I'll be on the train!

"Wait we have to jump immediately?! I thought they would give us a training or something!" the elevator-Amity-guy said.
"Of course not. What would they say? Okay and now jump?" I said sarcastically.

When the train arrived the Dauntless born immediately jumped in. They were just getting a ride home I guess.

The others were still complaining about the jump when I decided just to go for it. I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I even passed the last car. I heard the yelling and cheering of the Dauntless born.

"DUDE LOOK AT THIS!"

"SHE'S GONNA MAKE IT!"

I ran the last piece and hopped in. When I stood up they were absolutely stunned. "You made it!" "You passed the last car!" I smiled awkwardly and looked outside to see if anyone got left behind. I just saw a brown shoe get pulled in and no one left at the platform.

We made it all.

I heard someone approach me so I turned around to see who. It was a guy. He was Dauntless born and wearing a black tight t-shirt that showed of his abs. He had black messy hair a scar just under his left eye. He also looked like he wasn't as nervous as everyone else, like he knew where we were going.
