The guards took me away after Eric nodded approvingly. They made sure I knew that there was no way I could escape. They were having do much fun with the whole situation that they even decided to walk through the pit.

A shitload of people stared and everyone began to whisper. I even saw Mason's friends nudge him. he turned around and gasped.

"What did you do?" he mouthed at me.

I couldn't answer him so I stared back looking guilty. I got myself in this situation. The guards pushed me forward when I didn't walk fast enough. They took me to a part of Dauntless I hadn't seen yet. It was well hidden. The place was darker then the rest of Dauntless. My eyes readjusted quite fast and I began to look around.

The place was plain and dusty. It wasn't decorated in any way and everything that was there needed to be there. Every time we passed a light, it was bright and necessary to see where you were going. The guards kept pushing me to walk in front of them even though I was walking at my normal fast pace. I glared in front of me and kept walking with dignity.

One of the guards made me wait in front of a prison cell. They're gonna throw me in that? He walked over to a the wall and pressed a button. As soon as he hit it, the wall lid up and he was scanned. When the computer was sure that it was him, the prison cell opened.

They untied my wrists carefully and when I thought they were done I took a step forward to walk into the cell. They'd been way too pushy before, so I didn't wanted them to do that again. The guards disagreed and pushed me. Even though I kinda saw it coming I still lost my balance and fell on the cold hard ground.

They laughed when I turned around to glare at them and they walked away. I could still hear them. They were discussing what to do next.

"Someone should notify Eric."

"He already knows, she ran to him."

"Well yes but fill him in with the details." he replied.

"We don't have the details yet, you dumbass" the third one said.

I heard someone getting slapped.

"I'm not a dumbass, dumbass!"

"Original."

"Shut up!"

"Guys shut the fuck up we need to get back."

"Yeah to remove the body."

"and get the murder weapon."

"Dude no, I already found that."

"What? You did? When?"

"She left her knife when she ran. It has the girls blood all over it."

"Solved then! Let's get the body."

I heard their feet shuffling away and they closed the door. I didn't knew it was possible, but the room became even darker. They think I killed her with my knife? How stupid do they think I am? I sighed in frustration. What will happen to me? Will I get executed for a murder I didn't commit? That would be a Dauntless way to approach things. They think they have all the answers.

I didn't do it! Dammit why do they have to be so stupid! Hopefully they won't wipe my knife off. The DNA of the killer is on it. Maybe if I can get them to listen, they'll send it to Erudite to get an ID.

Oh who am I kidding. I also thought Eric would at least question me. All he did was smile when I got smashed down.

That fucking smug grin of him.
