The training room of the Dauntless born was not even close to ours but it looked the same. Mason told me on the way there the names of his friends.

The guy with blond shaggy hair was named Isaac. He was tall and had a long face. The guy who was joking the whole way was Brendan. He made sure to step in once he heard his name to tell me all about the origin and meaning. Apparently his parents went to Erudite to search for a good name and ended up with Brendan which is a Gaelic name meaning 'brave'.

The last guy was not as crazy as the others but was still way more outgoing then me. He had shaggy half long brown hair and his name was Felix.

There is no way I'm gonna be able to remember their names.

No offense to them, I was just really bad with names.

When we got close to the training room I heard a lot of cheering. By the amount of sound and feet shuffling I estimated that there were at least ten to fourteen people. Mason's friends nudged each other and ran ahead. Mason also got exited and made me walk a little faster. I wouldn't die from walking a bit faster right?

When we walked through the open door it was wilder than I expected. The whole room was filled with guys and girls who were either cheering for one of the fighters or casually talking to each other like nothing was happening. Mason saw his friends and gently pushed me in the right direction.

They were standing next to the score board. Oh dear god, he has a lot of friends.

"Hiya!" Mason shouted just as exited as ever. Most of them greeted him and then stared at me. "Dude did you beat her up or something?" one guy said. Oh yeah, I had a scratch on my cheek.

"Yeah right." I huffed.

His friends started to laugh. Mason looked kind of pissed off but introduced me anyway. "Yeah yeah. Anyway this is Rogue." Their laughter immediately stopped and I had their full attention.

"Is it true?"

"Uh... What?"

"Did you almost killed someone when you were a kid?"

I laughed. Of course not. But before I could answer we heard a loud thud and the fight was over.

"Mason and Ben. Med bay duty." Some guy shouted. I'd never seen nor heard him before. He must be the instructor of the Dauntless initiates. I still wonder what happened to Oliver, our original instructor. Mason nodded his head to me and his friends and left.

"Next fight: Felix against Dean!" he announced. I heard Felix sigh and all the guys slammed him on the back.

"Good luck" I said. He smiled back and said "Don't need it." Pff cocky much?

The rest of his friends pushed themselves to the front but I stayed behind. I don't need guys bumping against me right now. Well I never really need that. Rogue, focus! Felix's opponent looked buff and intimidating. You don't need luck? You sure?

"FIGHT!"

The large guy, whose name I forgot, came barging in right away. But Felix easily dodged him. Cheesus Felix is fast! Felix landed the first punch but the guy didn't even stumble. They went on and on. For some time I studied the techniques and saw some of their weaknesses. Felix wasn't good at blocking but he was good at dodging. The large guy was very slow and used all his stamina in each hit.

"Who's gonna win?" a familiar voice asked me. I looked to my left. Eric was standing in front of the score board. I averted my gaze from Eric back to the fight.
