"Me? You want to fight me?" Eric said amused. I nodded seriously. Before Eric could say anything else we heard a loud thud. We both looked at the plateau to find Liz standing over Daniel looking shocked. She'd won. It was obvious. Eric said that Liz had won with a lazy monotone voice.

"Liz and Evan. Infirmary." he stated.

I won. I was allowed to fight Eric!

"But aren't I supposed to fight right now?" Evan said confused.

"The plan has changed. Rogue will fight me instead."

Evan's eyes widened "Rogue? I thought... Who's Isa?"

"I accidentally shot her." I stated.

"You shot her." I nodded. "So you have to fight Eric?"

"No. I had to fight you but since we've already fought less than a week ago, I wanted to fight Eric" I lied. I wanted to fight Eric because I wanted to slap that fucking smug grin off his face.

Evan threw his hands in the air of frustration but quickly got himself back together. "Okay." he mumbled and he threw Daniel over his shoulder. Liz looked confused about what she had to do since Evan could clearly take care of Daniel by himself so she just jogged after him. Yes. Jogged. That was how fast Evan is walking. Evan rushed out of the room for some reason.

The room became really quiet when they left. Only a shocked Four, an amused Eric and me were left. Eric took the time to take his sleeveless leather jacket off. He hung it over the score board and turned to me. I knew he was gonna say something stupid like 'you coming?' or 'can't back out of it anymore.' so I didn't gave him a chance and I jumped to my feet.

Okay. Analyzing isn't necessary. I've done that every time I've seen him. He's a bit tall but he moves smoothly. He looks strong but I've never actually seen him work out. It might be hard since he's probably fast but I'm going for the countering.

We walked up the plateau and faced each other. All my doubts about possibly losing were immediately exterminated when I saw his face. He had that stupid smug grin again. That grin that says I'm-better-than-you-just-deal-with-it. The same grin my mom used to have when she thought she had a good argument. I started breathing faster and getting frustrated.

All those years of holding back. All those years of just agreeing instead of speaking my mind. All those years of getting treated like a slave. I'm not a slave any more and he'll just have to deal with me

We got into fighting position. I kept staring him straight in the eyes. I'll still get beat up though. No way I'll be able to win from the leader of Dauntless. But it doesn't matter. I will get my justice and slap that grin off someones face at least once.

"Fight." Four said.

Eric immediately went in for a punch in my side. But I'd predicted that he was someone who would wanted to get the first hit so I dodged. I wanted to circle a bit, draw him out, but he thought differently. He stood his ground and kept trying to punch me. He aimed for different points on my body; my head, my side, my gut. He tried to punch my face but I dodged under his arm and attempted to hit his chest. I thought that my motions were fluent and fast enough to actually get a hit but before I reached his chest, he'd pushed me in my side. We stumbled away from each other and I heard people gasping behind me.

Four said something about this being a private fight. Pff just because he's the leader, this is a private fight? Bullshit.

Eric grinned when he saw that I was waiting him out. THERE IT IS! THAT FUCKING SMUG GRIN AGAIN! I instantly fumed and aimed my fist, full force, to his face. He blocked me with his arm but still stumbled a bit. My hand began to ache and my wrist began to hurt from the impact.
