I took a deep breath and jumped around the corner. Eric stood about a meter away from me looking probably just as shocked as I felt right now.
He's the enemy!
I quickly pushed my shocked expression away and punched him with the back of my gun. Since there only was about a meter between us, there would be no use in using ranged weapons. That would only be a disadvantage.
Eric recovered from his daze as soon as I hit him. He stumbled back but quickly countered it and tried to kick my side. I tried to block it but the amount of force threw me into the wall next to me. Eric tried to step back to shoot me but I wouldn't let him.
I dashed forward and shoved my shoulder in his chest until we both hit the wall behind him. I saw him twitching his arm and moved my foot just in time. I heard the sound of Eric's gun going off and the dust next to my foot sprang up.
I pushed my elbow in his side for nearly shooting me.
Sooner or later, I have to get some distance to shoot him. There's no way I have the stamina to defeat him in hand to hand combat.
I got ready to step back and shoot but Eric was faster. He pushed me backwards and for just a second, I stumbled. But that was enough, and we both knew that.
Eric had his gun ready within a second and I heard guns firing.
A burning excruciating pain erupted from both my left leg just above my knee and the back of my shoulder. I gritted my teeth and squeezed my eyes shut.
Worse than I'd imagine it would feel. Motherfucker that hurts.
I placed my hand on my shoulder since that one hurt more and fell to my knees. In the corner of my eye, I could see Eric taking a step back. He lifted his gun to whoever was behind me but he was too slow and got hit twice. He stumbled and leaned against the wall next to him, holding his waist.
Eric lifted his gun once more and aimed for the person behind me. He managed to shoot once before getting hit himself. He couldn't hold himself and fell on the ground. At the same time I heard someone shriek behind me.
"Jesus, that was close!" Isa said relieved.
I ignored the pain in my shoulder and tried to stand up. As soon as I placed any weight on my leg I winced and fell back down again. The burning feeling wouldn't go away.
"Isa!" I shouted absolutely done with her shit.
I saw her run away when I turned around.
"Fucking Isa! Get. Back. Here!" I shouted as I pushed myself up, ignoring the burning just above my knee.
I pushed further as I began to limp towards her. She was still running towards the Ferris wheel in full speed, wincing every time she heard a gunshot. I was still heading towards Isa but got cut off by Gina, who decided that I was her new target. Behind her I saw Felix laying on the ground while groaning.
"Just give up and I'll shoot you easily." she taunted.
"That didn't even made sense!" I shouted while letting myself fall behind a corner.
"Who said it needed to make sense!" she shouted back while occasionally coming from her spot to shoot at mine.
I leaned to the right to see when she'd come out of her hiding spot. I saw her knee appear and carefully took my time to aim. I suck at shooting. Please don't fuck up now. When her arm and shoulder appeared, I pulled the trigger. I heard her shriek and jump back.
Dammit! I thought and also got behind my cover. She fired a couple of times but missed. Attempt number two! I jumped to my side to get to a better shooting point and fired without aiming too much. I knew that aiming wouldn't help much in my case. Just to be sure, I fired a couple of times.
