I woke up in a lot of pain. My face was stinging like hell and I think that I was black and blue all over. The lights were out and it was silent apart from some soft snores. Wait it's night? Did I sleep for the rest of the day? I focused on trying to remember anything. I remembered fighting Eric...

I slowly sat up, wincing every time I accidentally hurt myself. I was on the bed next to the bathroom. There were three other persons in the infirmary with me. Isa was still in the same bed as this morning but the other two were different persons and I couldn't see who.

I got up and waggled awkwardly to the bathroom. As soon as I entered, the lights went on. I was blinded at first but after a few seconds of staring at the floor I could see again.

I stared at the mirror.

That's me?

Eric has definitely fucked me up. I had an eyepatch made from bandages and the gauze was covered in dark red blood. Should I lift it up? I kind of want to see what it looks like. But I don't want to know... My hand hovered on the bottom of the gauze, ready to lift it up a little bit.

No no no no

I studied myself for other injuries but found only a cut in my lip, a cut on my upper arm (which was also wrapped in bandages) and some bruises. I wish I still had that medicine.

After going to the toilet I looked at myself again. I really want to know what it looks like... I grabbed the bottom of the gauze and slowly lifted it. It felt really weird. At first it was a little warm and wet-ish but now it got colder since the air could reach it. As soon as I lifted it far enough to see the cut on my eyelid I dropped the gauze.

It wasn't a deep cut and I doubt it even reached my eye, but it looked all gross and bloody. And that is coming from me, so that means it's really gross and bloody.

What time is it? I need someone to change the gauze. It might get infected. I searched around for a clock. It was a bit harder then normal to find a clock since it was all dark in the infirmary but after a minute my sight was fully used to it. There was a clock above the door. It read: 2:14 AM. The last time I was here, they came back at just before 7 AM.

It looks like I'm gonna do it myself.

Okay. What do I remember? You need a new gauze, bandages, scissors, disinfectant and tape... I think. I walked over to the medical cabinet and searched. The only thing inside it were vials so I wouldn't even have to look for a gauze, bandages and tape. After some digging I found a bottle labeled 'disinfectant'.

Where could I find the rest?

I tried to open the desk again but it was still locked. What else is there? I looked around. Medical cabinets, the desk, beds, bathroom, cabinets. Cabinets! I walked over and tried to open the drawers. They had a lock so I kind of expected them to be locked. The drawers opened and revealed a pair of scissors, bandages a box of gauze and a roll of tape.

Wow, that was easy.

"Rogue?" Isa groaned from her bed. She was sitting half up and stared at me while rubbing her eyes. "What are you doing?" she said judging.

"Don't worry about it, just go back to sleep."

"I fucking hate you." she said sleepily and turned around to sleep. Okay that's a new one. Points for originality. I thought sarcastically. Do people actually believe that they still have that influence on me? After hearing that for the tenth time you'll learn.
