Dedicated to KarrisB for being awesome!
The way back to Dauntless was long and awkward. Eric kept looking over at me.
"I'm not gonna cry if that's what you're thinking." I replied coldly.
"If you'd cry you'd be factionless."
I glanced over to Eric. He was looking at me to see my response. He kept a straight face and looked serious. But that's also what he normally looks like so it wasn't a guarantee that he was serious.
I didn't comment back on him and we resumed our way. After nearly ten minutes of walking, we reached the train rails.
"What time is it?" I asked Eric.
"Just over one."
"And a bit more precise?"
Eric looked a bit suspicious at me.
"You really still think I planned an assassination on you?"
"I think that you would be smart enough to know that you wouldn't make it out alive if you did." He commented. I rolled my eyes.
"It's for the train."
Eric looked at his watch and told me the time.
I did some math. Average walking speed... Train speed... "The train just left. It'd be faster just to walk."
Eric thought about it for a second and agreed. One thing I hadn't payed attention to: Awkwardness.
Eric kissed my sister... I should say something about that right? I can't just let him get away with that.
"So... Do you kiss everyone who's in shock?"
I glanced over to Eric. He'd stopped walking a few meters back and gave me the deadliest glare I'd ever seen. I became nervous. I'd crossed a line. He looked terrifying...
I gulped as he approached me. I mumbled a quick 'sorry' as he passed me with a glare.
I jogged a bit to catch up to him and we walked in silence.
Eric escorted me to the trainingsroom once we'd reached Dauntless. He never gave me any instructions so I assumed that they'd just trained the entire day.
We walked around the corner into the trainingsroom. All the transfers immediately looked at me. They'd been standing around in a circle in the middle. Four went back to rummaging around in a box once he saw us. I noticed that the transfers were looking a bit sad and angry.
Eric pushed me forwards. I looked back and glared at him. I am perfectly able to walk on my own.
Without any information he walked away and left me there.
"Why aren't you in jail?" Isa said clearly angry at me.
"Yeah, we finally have proof that you're evil." Daniel spoke up.
I didn't expect it from Daniel so I looked at him. I knew that I had my poker face. Daniel got creeped out and started to silently panic.
"I'm innocent." I stated and looked at Four.
What would we be doing today? It wouldn't be logical to get extra fighting training since we've finished the initiates fights.
"Yeah right." Isa huffed. "We were just at a tribute to the girl who died. Everyone was sad. You must've done it. Who did you frame?"
The others were looking at me like they knew I killed that girl.
"You shot me, maybe she also did something to get you mad. That's why you killed her, isn't it?" Isa went on.
