The rest of the day went by in a rush. As I expected, they did stare and asked for an explanation. But not the questions I expected. I expected something like Why was your sister here? I got questions like Who was that? I can see that Dauntless doesn't have the brightest initiates.

This morning also nothing really happened. We ate, we trained, Isa made sure that I knew that I didn't belong with them, everyone backed her up, I made sure to stay away from them.

The training was over and as I promised Daryl, I hadn't eaten yet. We were supposed to meet at the train tracks. Well, a bit before that since I wasn't allowed to leave the compound without a full member. I took a shower and made sure my eyeliner was right. But that was it.

What? You thought I was gonna dress up? First of all, I don't have money to buy nice new clothes; I spend it all on my knife. Not regretting a thing. Second of all, I'm not stupid. I can't look like I'm going on a date. People will suspect things and that might get Daryl into trouble.

When it was about time to leave, I headed to the train tracks. Since I'm me, I was late. Why am I always late with important things?! I ran the last bit and thanked god for not letting me run into someone. Daryl was hanging against the wall. I smiled when I saw that he also hadn't dressed up. Thank god, he's smart.

"Hi." I said a bit out of breath. Way to start a date stupid.

He smiled at me and asked "Geez, did you run here?"

"Is it that obvious?" I said without thinking.

He looked a bit insulted and stopped asking. Did I just fuck up in the first few seconds? Oh god. I really suck at this. We walked out together and waited for the train. After just a few seconds it came rushing towards us. I noticed that it went way faster then the trains I had taken so far and I got a bit nervous. What if I don't make it or go face first or something?

"Is it me or is that train going faster then usual?" I asked trying to lighten the mood.

"Oh, yeah. It's an initiate thing. Every time you have to jump into the train, the train will go a bit faster. That way you'll learn how to jump into a normal one." Daryl replied normally.

And since this is a normal one... It will go way faster then I'm used to.

Daryl said which one I should aim for. He began to run and jumped in. I already caught up to him. It wasn't impossibly fast but it was definitely harder to keep up. I jumped and caught the handle. I pulled myself up and saw that Daryl reached his hand out to help me get in. Let him help you. It will make him feel better. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up.

"Thanks." I said with a smile and he smiled back at me "So where are we going?"

"It's a surprise." he said mysteriously and winked at me.

"Great." I mumbled under my breath and I hung out of the car. It was still light outside but not for long. After a few minutes I heard Daryl move behind me. I turned around and saw him getting up.

"We're almost here." he stood behind me and slightly touched my back. "See that roof over there?" he said pointing to one of the roofs. I nodded "That's where we'll jump." he paused and took a step back.

"That is, if you're up for it" he added with a smirk.

"Pff. Don't underestimate me, mister." I answered and got ready to jump. Please don't let me fall. Please don't fall. Just PLEASE don't go face first.

Daryl began to sprint and I followed him. He jumped out just before me and landed perfectly. I however didn't think that the train would be that fast so I tumbled forward. No no no! I'm gonna hit the ground! I tried to steady myself but it was too late.
