Jc POV (FINALLY)

"So why have you come to visit? I haven't seen you in 6 years, I only receive calls on holidays, and I doubt you came here to personally give me a card." Grandma Jonie looks at me skeptically, I purse my lips.

"I have a... problem..." I shift uncomfortably from one side of the very scratchy chair I am currently sitting upon to the other.

"Does it involve financials?" she narrows her wrinkly blue eyes at me.

I shake my head fast, "No, no, never. It involves my personal life-"

"Ah, so it's a girl."

I bite my lip, she's always known me better than anyone in my family.

"Have you screwed up big time?" she leans closer to the coffee table that divides us.

I nod, a huge lump forms in my throat.

"I-I... Her best friend kissed me..." I manage to spit out.

"Have you told her the truth?"

"No, I kind of ran away... Heat of the moment?"

I look up at her and she's smirking, "Ah, like a coward. You ran to your ol' Granny to ask for the wisest of my advice. Listen Justin, I have no advice for you. But I do have a story."

"I don't want-"

"You came to my home, and woke me up from my nap, after not talking for years you just show up at my door step. It is my turn to talk." she snaps.

That shut me right up.

"Your Grandfather had been kissed by one of my best girlfriends a day after we got back from our honeymoon. He told me right away, I wasn't too pleased. I would give him the cold shoulder every time he tried to talk to me too much, but one thing me never did was give up. He never ran away and deserted me- he stayed and tried to fix everything.

"I know you didn't come here to hear this, but in most cases running away makes everything worse. I'm most positive your girl has felt depressed and deserted. Go back and be a man, got it Justin? Go save her." Grandma Jonie grins widely, her white hair reflects off the window- making her look god like.

I smile and nod rapidly, "I will, I will go save her. I'll be there for her, thank you."

She nods and walks me to the door, as I exit she calls from the front door.

"Remember to call me! You don't get something from nothing!"

I chuckle, "I will!"

God, I hope Tori will forgive me. But, what will happen if she won't?
