Chapter 21

For dinner I decided to where my purple strapless dress from a thrift shop down the street.

There's nothing really special about it, it's just a plain cotton stretchy strapless dress. It's a casual dinner so why dress up?

I pull on my strapless bra and then the dress, I observe myself in the mirror. I should probably fix my hair a little.

I decide to curl a few strands and pin it up with a pearl beret I got from Claire's.

I twirl a little and smile at my reflection, I don't look half bad.

I hear a knock on the door, no I wasn't changing in the living room. Since Kian was out on a date with Andrea, I was changing in his room. I cleaned up a little before I changed though, I hope he doesn't mind.

"Tori? You done?" Jc's voice is soft, I nod.

Them I remember he can't hear me nodding, so then I yell "Come in!"

He enters and his eyes widen as soon has he sees me, "Y-y-you look nice." he plasters a smile.

I smile, "Who am I kidding, Tori you look beautiful."

I blush and embrace him, "You don't look too bad yourself."

He didn't, he wore a light blue shirt with nice dark jeans and vans.

He looked hot, but why tell him when I'm almost positive he wouldn't give a hell. As of now I'm just his 'friend' until he decides to man up. until then he's just my roommate.

As soon as we enter the main hall way in hear "Conny!" Before I could decide who it was I see a flash of blonde and suddenly Connor is attacked.

"Jordan!" he fakes a smile and pats her back as she continues to squeeze the life out him.

"I missed you, Conny! Oh my god are you coming to dinner with us?!" she steps away from him and smiles.

He smiles back, a little more sincere than before. "Actually I have to-"

"Oh that thing, Connor I finished that up for you so you could go." Jc smiles at him.

He plasters another smile, "Thanks, Jc"

I walk over to Connor and bump shoulders with him and say under my breath "We suffer together."
