Chapter 23

As soon as I walk back into Pierre's after standing speechless for almost 10 minutes, I immediately see that Jordan has moved her chair closer to Connor's.

Her smile is devilish yet dazzling, her blonde hair is swept to one side and she's wearing a white strapless dress that puffs out at the bottom.

She looks amazing, as her dangling earrings glimmer from the lights above.

I take a seat next to Jc and whisper "Our secret is out, but she doesn't care."

I feel Jc's shoulders lower and I feel a little better too- except for how psychic she is.

The waiter comes back with drinks and we order our food, Jc and I decide to share a steak while Connor gets some sort of fancy seafood and Jordan gets a salad.

"So, Connor, how are you and Kat doing?" I smile at him, I know it's a really bitchy move to bring up Kat but hell no am I letting Jordan start the conversation- who knows what she'd talk about.

Jordan glares darkly at me, "You should know-" Connor laughs nervously "-she your best friend"

"Yeah, yeah but I was talking about your relationship." I giggle.

Jc's leg hits mine and I know he's getting uncomfortable, but that doesn't stop Jordan from saying "Connor, I don't feel so well. Can you take me back to the hotel?"

Connor's eyes widen along with everyone else at the table, "Uh... Sure?" he says.

"Why don't I take my sister back, Connor you stay here and with Tori-" Jordan cuts Jc off.

"Oh no, no, no. This should be a date for you two! How sweet! Connor and I will leave you two be, c'mon Connor."

Before we could say anything else Jordan yanks Connor out of his chair and they're out the door in a second, Jc turns to me.

"Does she..."

"Yes Jc, your sister likes Connor. But here's the real problem- Connor is dating my best friend."

"That is a problem." Jc says. He takes a sip of his drink.

"No shit, what do we do?! Your sister is an animal!"

"No she's no-"

"Jc. She told me she'd do anything to get what she wants- is it me or is that a bit threatening?!"

Jc shrugs, "My sister wouldn't do anything that extreme."

I stand up and slap my chair to the table "Oh my god Jc! You're such a dick! Your sister could possibly break my best friend's heart or face- possibly mine too! First you wouldn't tell her we're dating because you were scared if your fucking mother- who which you don't live with anymore. Now this! God you're such an ass! I'm going to find Connor and Jordan and stop this- come when you grow some fucking balls"

I turn on my heels and walk away, I haul a cab and I tell the tall meaty guy the Hilton address.

He grunts in understand meant and drives off. As we drive past multiple stores and pedestrians, I wonder if Jc cares enough to come after me.
