“How was your day?”
“It was good, work was busy. The event is coming along very well but with little bumps in the road. How was your day?”
“Jacob’s half gay”
“He’s what?”
“Half gay”
“What does that mean?”
“He’s bisexual”
“Really, Wow that’s shocking”
“Well , yeah apparently Lisa Christian’s sister told her friend that he was gay and her friend told the people that told others and now everybody is talking about him”
“Wow.”
“Yeah”
“You should ask her about it personally”
“I know” My mom and I had a really close relationship. I loved her. I don’t know what I would do with out her. “Mom did you eat?”
“No.”
“Hmm Lets go out for dinner” My mom closed her laptop and we got in to my car and we went to the Pickle Barrel. We were waiting for the server to come take us to our seats when I see Shawna. She seen me to and gave me this look I don’t know what to call the look but she gave it to me and walked in to the bathroom. We got our seats and we ordered Appetizers salad for both of us and 10 sliders. We were waiting for our food and I texted Shawna

Hey umm what was that like are we not friends anymore.

I waited for a reply 5 mins later I got one

That look was a look of betrayal. Since you and Christian started hanging out. Me and you stopped hanging out you just left me there.

It was like that was it? I didn’t realise that she felt that way.

That right there was an acceptance from Shawna. My mom and I finished eating. We drove home to see a car in our drive way. I saw my mom smile. “Mom, who is that?”
“That’s Tyson’s car”
“Tyson? Ohhh the guy from your work”
“Yeah” My mom was like smiling ive never seen her so happy before. We walked out of the car. This man came out of the car he was Hot. I mean very attractive. He was about 25 30. He was about 6’0. He had caramel skin brown hair pretty light brown eyes. “Hey Kaya”
“Hey Tyson, This is my daughter Alexis”
“Hello Alexis.”
“Nice to meet you Tyson” We all walked inside. I put away Tyson’s jacket. “Lexy can you go up stairs and get my laptop please”
“Ohkay mom” I went up and got it.
“Thanks hunny” She took it and I knew that was my cue to get lost.
I was in my room. Going through boring facebook. I heard my mom giggling downstairs. Then the giggling stopped abruptly. I walked downstairs quietly. I saw my mom and Tyson kissing passionately. I walked back upstairs. You go Mom. I fell asleep. I woke up to Tyson sounding like he was playing tennis. Getter Done.
It was Christmas eve. My mom and I were putting up the rest of the Christmas tree. “So mommy”
“Yeah Hun” My mom was very cheery these days after the Tyson incident.
“What’s with you and Tyson”
“It complicated”
“Mom can I tell you something?”
“Yeah”
“I heard you and Tyson having sex” I seen her blush
“Really umm”
“Its ohkay”
“Well”
“well?”
“it just happened.”
“You like him”
“No”
“Yes”
“Ohkay , Yeah”
“Is he single”
“Yeah”
“So are you. Ask him out”
“Really?”
“Yups call him now”
“No”
“Call him, mother”
“Ohkay” My mom walked out of the room. 10mins later she came back she was gleaming. “HE SAID YES” We hugged
“Whens your date?”
“Saturday , dinner”
“Really, Mom im so happy for you” Tyson seemed to make my mom happy so if he broke her heart I swear imam break his legs. J
