Cry My Eyes Out

Alexis P.O.V

            Shawna had drink upon drink. “Come dance!” She squealed. I could smell the drinks on her breath. She pulled Jeremy and I on the make shift dance floor. “This is my jam!” She yelled and started to grind off beat to Some Nights by Fun. I and Jeremy just watched her in disbelief. She was never this ballzy.

Her face suddenly turned green. She started running through the crowd. We ran after her she was holding her mouth. We turned the corner. It was like everything slowed down. I saw Christian kissing an other chick. Every thing was in slow motion. This blond looked up from kissing him and smirked at me. I felt my feet moving. I went up behind him. I tapped him on the shoulder, my hands took motion. WHAP, I slapped him in the. I could feel the hot tears running down my cheeks. I was running. “ALEXIS!” He yelled “Let me explain”

“I don’t want to hear anything from you Christian” I yelled back. He stopped in his tracks. I kept running.

            I must have run blocks. My lungs were hurting and burning. I hated him so much. How can he do this to me? This day couldn’t get any worst. Like on cue I felt a big water droplet on my head. I looked up to the sky, the clouds rolled in and a zap of light came out of the sky. Then the loud boom of thunder came, I just gave up. I didn’t know where I was going. It rained softly at first then the skies opened up it were pouring. I sat at a bench. Just over thinking what just went on. This is what I was scared of.  I could feel the hot tears running down my face mixing with the rain. No one can see you cry in the rain. I didn’t know what to do with my self.  I got up and walked again. I could see the head lights behind me. The person honked the horn. I completely ignored it.

Jacob P.O.V

             I seen her run out of the house her face pale like she just seen a ghost. It’s the fastest I’ve ever seen her run. I studied her face as she ran she had been crying or was still crying. I walked around the corner to see Christian I think his name is yelling “Alexis, Let me explain” She yelled something back but I couldn’t hear what she said. Nicki came up to me. “Alexis just left, she seen Christian and Abby kissing” She explained “can you go look for her?”

“Why?”

“Because she’s out there and she’s my cousin and she might get lost”

“Ohkay, I wasn’t having any fun at the party anyways” I took the car down the street. The rain started.

            Oh shit I thought she was out there in the rain. I saw someone walking. I turned on the headlights. It was her, she was soaked. I honked the horn. She ignored me. I drove up beside her. “Hey come I’ll take you home.”  She didn’t even look up to see who was talking to her.

“I don’t want you to take me home” Gosh she was so stubborn. The rain poured harder and she kept walking. I drove up beside her. She gave in and hopped in the car. The whole drive was in an awkward silence. She was sniffling and crying. “Here you go” I said. She looked ay me her mascara was running down her face her eyeliner was smudged.  I leaned in and wrapped my arms around her. “Thanks Jacob” She said and climbed out of the car.

Alexis P.O.V

I ran into the house. Slamming my door shut. I dropped myself and my wet clothes on the bed and cried all my makeup out on my pillows. My mom came running in my room in shock.

“What’s wrong?” Tyson came running after her with his just had sex hair. Why do they always have to have sex when i'm not here? I focused on both of them in my door way she had on her robe and he had a towel around his waist. Why did they have a perfect relationship but I cant. My mom walked over to my bed and wrapped her arms around me “What’s wrong?” I sobbed

“What are wrong Alexis?” I cried harder

“Alexis tell me what’s wrong.” I finally brought myself to say it.

“Christian cheated on me I seen him kissing another girl”

“He did” I could see the anger rising in her face. She wiped the tears from my cheeks

“Baby he’s not worth your tears”

“He said he loves me mom”

“Awe baby” she hugged me. “I know what will help” she said. She got off of the bed and came back with a litre of Vanilla ice-cream.

“Here” she handed me a spoon and the bowl. I took a spoon full and ate it. It made me feel a little better. Then it made me realise how cold he is. When I was done she turned to me. “Now talk to me Alexis” I explained how Shawna got drunk and how I seen them and I walks down the street in the rain and how Jacob brought me home.

“Well that explains your wet clothes” She laughed humourlessly my sheets were wet.

“You know what hurts the most moms?”

“What?”

“That even though he said he loved me he still kiss another girl. He said that he would never hurt me” My memory triggered back to the day in his bedroom when he told me that and made me cry more. “I was so stupid to believe him. This is what I get for giving out my heart to a guy.”

“You weren’t stupid”

“It was too good to be true”

“Get some sleep Lexy; we’ll talk in the morning.” I cried myself to sleep.  I had nightmares about Christian and him kissing all the girls in school and taunting me.
