"Shut up,"

"Grow up,"

"Look up,"

"Oh come on," I muttered from my room, slamming down the neon yellow pencil I held in my hand, I couldn't believe how much the twins where fighting today, plus Mars has taken it upon himself to annoy my every being to the core for whatever reason he has.

"Come on, come on, turn the radio on
It's Friday night and I won't be long
Gotta do my hair, put my make up on
It's Friday night and I won't be long," Mars sang, his voice surprisingly good, but still I spun around in the chair of the room I was generously offered and glared at him when he grinned.

"So are you going out with me?"

"I. Said. No. We'll go to wherever you wanted to take me after I finish my homework!" I said, spun around again, and than realized how his question sounded like, and sat there, mortified.

He chuckled at my rigid position, and got up to grab a chair and sit next to me.

"Ani, I- but- just stop!"

"Ani- I- i- i- b-but just stop!" Ani repeated in a deep voice

"Someone's all Mature,"

"Someone's all Mature,"

I sighed, and put my head in my arms, head on the table, and slowly I fell into unconsciousness. I'll deal with life later.

I looked at my mother, scared.

But... I couldn't take it... she won't kill me... or eat me... if I do... right?

Right?

I bit my lip hard and then decided to just do it.

"I'm hungry," I said, fear etching itself on every unseen part of me, My body has frozen in place, tears falling down my pale cheeks, I was more than terrified, but it was the summer holiday, and I hadn't eaten in ages... I can't take it...

My brother, Amet, who was standing behind my father, trailing behind him obediently, as I was doing, stopped for a millisecond and glared at me, showing me the stupidity of my act and half warning me.

My mother turned around, "What?" She spat, her facial features darkened for a second, and got replaced with a sickening,  fake sweet look that seemed to work perfectly on my mother's features, probably the way she fooled people into our home.

I shivered, not daring to say it again, my stomach groaning and moaning in an audible plea for food, speaking for me.

"Well then, we can't leave you all starvey-warvy now can we?" My mother said, her voice heavily honeyed.

A lonely glistening tear fell down my cheek. I was shaking with fear.

"Evelyn!" My father spat "reply to your mother when she's talking to you!"

I gave a shaky nod. "Yes mummy," I said croakily.

She grinned, and yanked my hand into hers, pulling me after her to wherever.

She let go of me and I crashed to the ground, I started there as she walked to...

(Warning!: Disturbing scene)

My eyes widened in fear at the live pigeon in my mother's hands, who was struggling against her cruel grip, right when it was about to escape, my mother took out a pocket knife and started cutting the live pigeon into squares.
