"Who is it?" Mars called.

I fell to my knees.

"Evelyn? Ev?"

I heard footsteps and Mars stood in front of me, it was the first time I payed attention to his looks. He had wavy black hair and blue eyes, they weren't like any blue I've ever seen before either... they weren't a icy blue, or a ocean blue, they were... a beautiful watery blue. His body was a strong format, and his jaw was stone hard and somewhat sharp.

He opened the door and I staggered.

F-

"Hello!" Said the overly kind voice of my mother. "We're moving into the neighbourhood and I'd thought to invite your family over to mine for dinner!"

"O-"

"No," I said, my face to the wall. I silently prayed that she won't recognise my voice.

"Oh but I insist,"

Mars gave me an confused look. And looked back at her.

"My... wife said no," Mars said, looking at me for approval.

My mother tried to peek in but Mars stood too close to the door.

"Mmm," I said, gathering myself together. "We're going out with the kids,"

"Kids?" My mother hissed, delighted.

I shuddered. I knew for a fact that my mother loved kids more then anything... and by that I mean she loves the way they taste.

"How about you let them come over to my house for a play date?"

"Really? That'd be-"

"Unacceptable," I cut into Mars' sentence, shaking my head. "They're unstable and dangerous to be around other kids,"

"I'm sorry," I stood up, my shoulder length hair falling to my face and covering it. "We've got to go soon and we have to get ready... see you later!"

I closed the door and waited until I heard retreating footsteps. I sighed and put my face in my hands.

"Whatever you do don't agree to accept to go to their house, or let anyone go to their house. Don't agree or go out with her in private or a public place. Don't agree to anything she says... always make up and excuse-"

"Why?" Mars asked, shocked.

"Do as I say or you'll deeply regret it after what's that monster is going to do to you. Don't let her ever see the twins either... if she recognises me it's one thing but them... oh god no. And tell your parents to not contact her... ever."

"Yes ma'am," He said, saluting me.

"Leave me alone for the time being,"

He looked at me and nodded before leaving.

Ani's prospective

I sat cross legged with my hair open, I changed into a night gown that I found in a big storage room. It was small and fit me perfectly with a teddy on my chest as a design.
