"Awe!" The girl cooed. "She's adorable! What's your name, honey?"
"Ani," I murmured, glancing around. Mars and Evelyn made us go to an adult party, it wasn't that much of an party. It was all dark so I couldn't see a thing and the place reeked of some foul smell. I don't think we're even supposed to come. A bunch of teens were dancing everywhere so I had to clutch on to Evelyn's hand tightly.
Mars was chatting with his friends while Evelyn relaxed with some girl. The girl was breathtakingly pretty, She had dark skin and large brown eyes with really pinky lips.
"I can beat you all up if I wanted you," I heard Andi say somewhere behind me, I looked at him as the boys around Mars laughed.
"Have a go," A blonde guy said.
Evelyn glanced back, mouthing something at Mars. I looked at the girl. "What's your name?"
"Leva," she answered, playing with my hair. The music changed and I covered my ears as they increased the volume. "I don't like it here," I muttered.
"Ev," I mumbled, tugging at her dress. "Can we go home now?"
She breathed out. "I wish,"
A group of three girls walked up, a sneer on their faces. "You have kids?"
"Siblings don't exist anymore?" Evelyn said, rolling her eyes.
"Buzz off," I said loudly when she opened her mouth to speak again.
"What're you going to do about it?" The black haired girl snarled.
"Calm down, Jules, she's a kid," her freind whispered.
"I'm seven!" I said, Evelyn looked at me with a weird look on her face, Leva giggled.
"I can beat you all up if I wanted to," I said, mimicking what Andi said.
"R-"
I kicked her leg and then dug my nails into her arm, trying to push her on the ground with all the force I could muster. It was pretty pathetic, I couldn't push her one inch.
I heard footsteps and Evelyn grabbed me, forcing me down on a chair. "Don't," she said.
Mars and his pals walked over, sitting in the couch next to us. The group's attention immediately fixed onto them. I stared at a bowl of fruit punch. "I want some juice," I begged Evelyn.
"We'll buy some when we're out," she replied.
"I'm going to play,"
"No,"
"I'm going to the loo,"
"Later,"
"When's later?"
"After a bit,"
"When's that?"
Evelyn let out a frustrated sigh and I shut up, knowing she was annoyed. I crossed my arms and legs and tried to fall asleep.
Someone covered my eyes.
"Boo," Andi breathed.
"More like 'Boo-hoo, why does it have to be you," I whispered back. "Bog off, jerk,"
