Wherever that is, I thought. I looked to see Dean glancing at me.  To kill the awkwardness, I heard a song come on and to my despite I was tapping my foot, then turning up the radio. I tilted my head, I did not know the song but I liked it. I later on found out it was Monster by Skillet.

    I studied the lyrics closely.

So stay away from me the beast is ugly,
I feel the rage and I just can't hold it,
It's scratching on the walls, in the closet and the halls

I smiled. I hadn't even noticed myself dancing in the passenger seat. Dean stared at me.

"I must confess that I feel like a monster," I sang. Not paying attention to what the lyrics or I had just said, I looked to Dean. "I love this song. Don't you Dean?"

"That's why I have it on, Cas," He replied through a laugh. I don't know whether it was my new more... human sight, or just me having not seen another being for hours, but Dean looked different. Special. When he laughed, he threw his head back a little. His eyes were everywhere but he otherwise barely moved. God, his eyes, it was like I'd never seen him before. I blinked and let the music surround us.
